Still smiling after Dive After Dark: Glow Up! 🌙💡 We had a huge turnout and welcomed nearly 20 guests from outside our church family. From games and worship to new friendships, it was a joy to see kids shine and remember Jesus is the Light of the world. Huge thanks to every student, family, and volunteer who made the night unforgettable!

“You are the light of the world.” — Matthew 5:14

"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." — Isaiah 26:3

Mid-week has a way of sneaking up on us. The to-do list is long, the news is loud, and our minds can run in a hundred directions before lunch. 🍂

The peace God promises here isn't the absence of a busy week. It's a steady mind anchored in a faithful God. Peace doesn't come from getting everything done. It comes from fixing our eyes on the One who already has it all in his hands.

So today, when the worry starts to creep in, pause. Take one slow breath. Say it out loud: "Lord, I trust you with this." Then take the next faithful step.

What's one thing you're handing over to God today? Tell us in the comments. We'd love to pray with you. 🙏

Saturday morning here at Current is gonna be good. ☕🚗

This Saturday, October 31, come start your weekend with your Current family. If you love a great cup of coffee and enjoy admiring some beautiful rides, Cars and Coffee is the perfect excuse to get out of the house, meet a few new faces, and catch up with old friends.

And men, we're not done in Ephesians 6. Armor of God Men's Study meets this Saturday for Week 3 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. We're learning what it looks like to stand firm, with the belt of truth and the shield of faith, in a world that pushes hard. Breakfast and coffee are on us. Bring a brother. Better yet, bring the guy who's been meaning to come.

Come for the coffee. Stay for the community. ✨

Tomorrow night. Pumpkins. Prizes. Zero chill. 🎃🏃

Current Students, The Chase is TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 28! Pumpkins are hidden all over the property, our students will go find them, race the clock, and (let's be honest) laugh way too hard along the way.

Here's why we love this night: it's one of the easiest nights of the year to bring a friend. You don't need to know the Bible or have the right answers. You just need to show up ready to run. Sometimes the best way to feel at home in a church family is to chase a pumpkin together. 💛

If your student hasn't decided to go yet, there's still time. Tell them to grab a friend and come ready to play.

The Turkey Trek Food Drive for Current Cupboard is officially underway! 🦃🥫

If you grabbed a shopping list card at the lobby table yesterday, thank you, and keep going. If you missed it, no worries. You can still pick one up at the Current Cupboard table in the lobby this coming Sunday. The card lists the staples our neighborhood pantry needs most for December through February.

Even one bag of groceries can change a real family's week. And when a whole church family shops together, the shelves fill fast.

Here's how to be part of it:
1️⃣ Shop from the list this week.
2️⃣ Bring your donations to the Current Cupboard table in the lobby on Sunday, November 1 or Sunday, November 8.
3️⃣ Pray for the families we'll serve, now and on Saturday, November 21, Turkey Trek distribution day.

📅 Drop-offs: Sunday, November 1 & Sunday, November 8

Thank you, Current, for showing up for our neighbors. 💛

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." — Colossians 3:23

It's Monday. The inbox is full, the calendar is packed, and the to-do list has opinions. 😅

Here's a quiet reminder to start the week: the ordinary things matter to God. The lunch you pack, the email you send, the diaper you change, the hard conversation you finally have. When we do it all as an offering to the Lord, even the most routine Monday becomes holy ground.

You don't have to do everything today. Just do the next faithful thing with your whole heart. 🌾

Take a minute before you dive in to ask God, "What is one thing I can do today as worship?"
