Convergence Christian Church

Convergence Christian Church Jesus taught that life is about connecting with Him, growing with others, and giving of ourselves. Basically: Love God. Live in Community. Serve the World.

From our beginning in 2008, people from a lot of different backgrounds and walks of life have come together here. Often, I hear C3 described by people who find a home here as, “a church for people who don’t always feel like they 'fit’ at church.” I believe the beauty of our community comes from the simple fact that we approach “doing church” as a people who recognize that we are all works-in-progr

ess. We don’t have it all together, but we know that the God of the Universe has what we need to become whole, and we’d like you to be a part of that journey.

Our world is filled with distractions trying to steal our attention, our affection, and our loyalty. But in the midst of all the noise, we are called to seek Christ first. Because of His sacrifice and saving grace, Jesus offers us a fresh start—a new beginning through salvation and freedom from our sin. This ongoing challenge calls us out of our old life, gives us a new purpose and sends us out to make a difference in the world around us.
And whether you are a long-time believer, and new follower, or someone who is still exploring who Jesus is, this invitation is given every day! So: If you’re ready to start fresh from wherever you are, why not join us over the next couple of weeks and explore what God has in store for you?

Merry Christmas!!

"They [the angels] said 'Don't be afraid.' We've got a little while to go yet in this life, and it's a scary thing, but don't be afraid. Be of good cheer. He has overcome the world. And He has chosen to dwell within us. And we ain't all that big a deal, but our Savior is. He will walk with us through this life, and when it's over, He will raise us up again, and take us to be where He is. Not because of what we've done, but because of who He is. Because of the love He has for us." -- Rich Mullins [Anderson University, Anderson, IN, November 16, 1995]

Our news feeds are often filled with more reports of terrible things than any one person can keep track of. I’ve been following 5 of them this week, involving attacks on groups, couples and individuals. The weapons used were quite varied—as were the motives—if indeed a motive could even be determined. But each incident serves as a reminder that our world is corrupted and broken. Something is clearly wrong.
This brokenness, however, is not the way things began. In fact: If we go back to creation itself in Genesis 1, we read that throughout the creating process, God saw that what He had made was good.
So: What happened?
This is what we are going to talk about this Sunday at C3.
I hope you’ll join us!
