Congratulations to the recipients of the 2026 Donald R. Kellogg Memorial Scholarship!

This year, KPUMC proudly honors Eduardo "Eddie" Lopez and Alex Palacio for their outstanding commitment to service, leadership, and their communities.

Eddie has distinguished himself as a volunteer firefighter with the Bedford Fire Department, mentoring fellow recruits and serving on both fire and EMS calls. Alex has demonstrated remarkable leadership through the Appalachia Service Project, our church's youth ministry, and his volunteer service with the Katonah Fire Department.

Both young men embody Donald R. Kellogg's legacy as "quiet doers"—serving others with humility, compassion, and dedication.

Please join us in congratulating Eddie and Alex on this well-deserved recognition!

They're off!

Early Saturday morning, our 2026 Appalachia Service Project team departed for Tennessee after a special send-off prayer from Pastor Matt.

Over the next week, our teens, young adults, and adult volunteers will serve families by making homes warmer, safer, and drier. Six vans and a truck full of tools and supplies are carrying not only everything needed for the work ahead, but also hearts ready to serve.

Beyond the home repairs, the week will be filled with morning devotionals, meaningful fellowship, and "God moments" that will strengthen faith and create lasting memories.

Please keep our team in your prayers throughout the week. We can't wait to share updates from their journey!
