A huge thank you to everyone who came out today to help with the cleanup at **Christ the King Parish**.

Whether you worked outside clearing storm debris, helped clean up inside the church, emptied and cleaned refrigerators and freezers, moved items, swept, hauled, or simply pitched in wherever you were needed — **every single person made a difference.**

It was a big job, but seeing so many people come together to help care for our parish home was truly appreciated.

We are incredibly grateful for your time, your hard work, and your willingness to lend a hand.

**Thank you for showing what a strong and caring parish community we have!** 🙏❤️

Un enorme agradecimiento a todos los que vinieron hoy a ayudar con la limpieza en Christ the King Parish.

Ya sea que hayan trabajado afuera recogiendo ramas y escombros de la tormenta, ayudado a limpiar dentro de la iglesia, vaciado y limpiado refrigeradores y congeladores, movido cosas, barrido, cargado o simplemente ayudado donde más se necesitaba — cada persona hizo una gran diferencia.

Fue un trabajo grande, pero fue muy bonito ver a tantas personas unirse para ayudar a cuidar nuestra casa parroquial.

Estamos profundamente agradecidos por su tiempo, su esfuerzo y su disposición para ayudar.

⛪ MASS SCHEDULE UPDATE – CHRIST THE KING PARISH

We are happy to announce that Sunday Masses will proceed as normally scheduled tomorrow, August 23rd! 🙏

🕤 9:30 AM – English Mass
🕐 1:00 PM – Spanish Mass

Thank you to everyone who has helped with the cleanup and recovery efforts following the recent storm damage. Your time, hard work, and support are greatly appreciated! ❤️

We look forward to seeing everyone at Mass tomorrow. God bless!

Due to the storm, our Wyandotte location is closed until it is safe for us to reopen. We will keep you updated with any changes!

If you had an appointment scheduled at our Wyandotte location, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Please give us a call to reschedule your appointment or move it to our Olathe location, which is currently open!

⛈️ IMPORTANT PARISH UPDATE — MASS CANCELED & CLEANUP DAY ⛈️

Due to the storm damage Wednesday morning in the Welborn area of Kansas City, Kansas, there will be NO 4:00 PM Mass this Saturday.

Instead, we are asking our parish community to come together for a Church Cleanup Day beginning at 3:00 PM. 🙏💪

If you are able to help, please bring any tools or equipment that may be useful, including:

🪚 Chainsaws
🍂 Rakes
🧹 Brooms
🧤 Work gloves
🪓 Other yard and cleanup tools

📅 Saturday
🕒 Cleanup begins at 3:00 PM
⛪ No 4:00 PM Mass

Many hands make light work! Any time you can give will be greatly appreciated as we work together to clean up our parish grounds after the storm.
