Diocese of Honolulu Evangelization TaskForce Diocesan Evangelization TaskForce exists to offer life-changing encounters with the risen CHRIST. (St. Joining in 2020: St. Michael, and Knights of Columbus. Amen.

Our Mission is to enliven the Catholic Church in Hawaii by developing and providing resources that allow people to encounter the presence of GOD and become inspired witnesses who will invite the unchurched to “come and see”. Resources provided: Retreats; Parish Missions; Workshops; Mass - Sundays at 11:00 a.m. – 12:40 p.m. Pius X Church, Manoa); and Social Media - posts, live-streaming

Formed in

September of 2019, the members are made up from small Christian communities and organizations successful in evangelizing. Liaisons to Diocesan Evangelization TaskForce bear the Fruit of the SPIRIT. Founding members: Basic Christian Community, Benedictine Monastery Of Hawaii, Catholic Men's Fellowship of Hawaii, Eucharist Apostles of the Divine Mercy, Charismatic Renewal, Hamau I Loko Foundation, Hispanic Youth Ministry, Legion of Mary, Missionary Sisters of Mary Help of Christians, Catholic Beer Club, Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, That Man Is You, and Waikiki Hungry Ministry. Come, HOLY SPIRIT, come! Heavenly FATHER, Pour forth your HOLY SPIRIT to inspire me. Stir in my soul the desire to renew my faith and deepen my relationship with your SON, our LORD JESUS CHRIST so that I might truly believe in and live the Good News. Open my heart to hear the Gospel and grant me the confidence to proclaim the Good News to others. Pour out YOUR SPIRIT, so that I might be strengthened to go forth and witness to the Gospel in my everyday life through my words and actions. In moments of hesitation, remind me: If not me, then who will proclaim the Gospel? If not now, then when will the Gospel be proclaimed? If not the truth of the Gospel, then what shall I proclaim? FATHER GOD, I pray that through the HOLY SPIRIT I might hear the call of the New Evangelization to deepen my faith, grow in confidence to proclaim the Gospel and boldly witness to the saving grace of YOUR SON, JESUS CHRIST, who lives and reigns with YOU, in the unity of the HOLY SPIRIT, one GOD, for ever and ever.

Reminders: Watching a live-stream Mass fulfills the 3rd Commandment only for those who are home-bound. Being in the real presence of JESUS, worshipping with the family of GOD, and receiving Holy Communion is the appropriate response to JESUS' commands in Luke 22:19-20 and 1 Corinthians 11:23-25.
