The Pressure to Compromise
The churches in Galatia were being pressured to change the gospel.
Paul stood firm because the gospel is not ours to edit.
In a culture that constantly changes, God's truth remains the same.
When facing pressure to compromise, pause and ask: What does God say?

Who Are You Trying to Please?
"For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God?" (Galatians 1:10)
Paul understood that the gospel is not shaped by public opinion. Truth does not change to gain acceptance.
As followers of Christ, we must regularly halt and ask: Am I living to please people or to please God?
The gospel calls us to faithfulness, not popularity.

God's Plan Is Bigger Than We Think

When Jairus' daughter died, everyone thought the story was over.
Jesus saw something they couldn't see.
Many times we assume our dreams, hopes, or situations are beyond repair. Yet God is still working.
Before giving up, halt for the gospel and ask: "Lord, what is Your plan?"
The God who raises the dead is still writing stories of redemption today.

Halt and Reach for Jesus

For twelve years, a woman suffered and searched for answers.
Then she came to Jesus.
When life becomes overwhelming, we often run everywhere except to Christ. The gospel invites us to stop striving and start trusting.
Today, halt and ask: "Lord, what is Your plan in this struggle?"
His grace is sufficient.

From Rescue to Mission

After Jesus delivered the man, He sent him back home to tell others what God had done.
Sometimes we want to stay where we're comfortable, but Jesus has a mission for us.
Take time today to halt and ask: "Lord, what is Your plan for my life? Who have You placed around me that needs to hear the gospel?"
Every believer is called to be a witness.

Halt for the Broken

The demon-possessed man in Mark 5 had been written off by everyone else.
Jesus stopped for him.
The gospel teaches us to slow down and see people the way Jesus sees them. Instead of rushing past broken people, we should ask, "Lord, what is Your plan for this person's life, and how can I be part of it?"
Jesus specializes in restoring what others have given up on.

Who Is This King?
After Jesus calmed the sea, the disciples asked, "Who then is this?"
That question changes everything.
Before making plans, chasing dreams, or worrying about tomorrow, we need to halt and consider who Jesus really is.
When we recognize Him as Lord, we begin asking a different question: "Lord, what is Your plan?"

Halt in the Storm

The disciples panicked when the storm arose, but Jesus was in the boat with them.
When life's storms come, our first response is often fear. But what if we stopped and asked, "Lord, what are You teaching me through this?"
Sometimes God calms the storm. Sometimes He uses the storm to deepen our faith.
Either way, Jesus is present.

Halt and Examine the Soil
Jesus teaches that the seed of God's Word falls on different kinds of soil.
Before rushing through life, we need to pause and ask: What is God's plan for my heart?
The gospel calls us to halt long enough to let God's Word take root and bear fruit. A fruitful life begins with a receptive heart.
