JOPLIN, YOU SHOWED UP! 🎃❤️

What an incredible afternoon at Trunk or Treat!

From amazing costumes and creatively decorated trunks to games, candy, hot dogs, and plenty of smiles, we had an absolute blast spending the afternoon with our community!

But more than anything, we loved the opportunity to connect with families, make new friends, and share the love of Jesus with our neighbors.

To everyone who joined us, THANK YOU! We’re so thankful to be part of such an incredible community.

We loved every minute of it, and we can’t wait to do it again next year!

Music, ministry, and a whole lot of fun! 🎶🙌

A special thank-you to Dillon Chase for joining us at Trunk or Treat and ministering through music!

We loved having him with us as we welcomed families from across our community for an afternoon filled with fun, fellowship, and opportunities to share the love of Jesus.

And how awesome was it getting to hear Sami rap, too?! 🎤🔥 That was such a fun addition to an already incredible afternoon!

Dillon and Sami, thank you for sharing your gifts and talents with us and helping make this year’s Trunk or Treat even more special!

Wednesday night looked a little different for First Joplin, and we loved every minute of it!

Instead of gathering for our regular midweek activities, we headed to Michigan Place Apartments to bring Trunk or Treat directly to the community!

With candy, games, free hot dogs, and plenty of smiles, we had an incredible evening connecting with families, making new friends, and sharing the love of Jesus.

We believe the church is called to go beyond its walls and meet people right where they are. This was another opportunity to do just that!

A huge thank-you to everyone who volunteered and helped make this outreach possible, and to the families at Michigan Place Apartments who came out and spent the evening with us.

Joplin, we love you, and we’re thankful for every opportunity to serve our community! ❤️

Trunk or Treat wouldn’t be possible without the incredible volunteers who gave their time, energy, and talents to make it happen!

To everyone who decorated a trunk, donated candy, served food, helped with games, welcomed families, directed traffic, worked behind the scenes, or stayed to clean up, THANK YOU!

Every smile, every conversation, and every act of kindness helped make this afternoon special for our community.
We’re so thankful for a church family that is willing to step up, serve others, and share the love of Jesus in such a meaningful way.

A special THANK YOU to some of our community heroes! 🚒🚔❤️

We want to give a huge shoutout to Redings Mill Fire District and the Newton County Sheriff’s Office for being part of this year’s Trunk or Treat!

We loved having Redings Mill Fire District join in on the fun, and we’re especially thankful for the Newton County Sheriff’s Office for coming out and helping keep everyone safe throughout the afternoon.

We’re blessed to have incredible first responders who faithfully serve and protect our community, and we appreciate them taking time out of their busy schedules to be part of this special event.

Thank you for all you do for Joplin and the surrounding communities! We’re grateful for you! ❤️

📢 MIDWEEK UPDATE!

Just a reminder that we will NOT have our regular Midweek activities tonight, Wednesday, October 28!

Instead, we’re taking the love of Jesus beyond our church walls! ❤️🎃

We’ll be hosting a Trunk or Treat at Michigan Place Apartments, and we’d love for you to join us as we connect with families, serve our neighbors, and show this community the love of Christ!

🙌 Come on out and help us love on our community! Let’s make a difference together!
