❤️ What a week. It's hard to believe VBS is already over...

Looking back through these videos and photos, we're reminded of just how much fun was packed into five nights. There were games, crafts, music, snacks, cheering, laughing, and lots of memories made along the way!

But the best part wasn't the decorations, the activities, or even the fun. The best part was watching kids learn about God and hearing the truths of His Word.

This week we learned:

🧱 We need to know the real God.

🧱 God never changes.

🧱 God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and everywhere.

🧱 God is holy, just, and always right.

🧱 God's love, mercy, and grace make a way for us to be saved through Jesus Christ.

Thank you to every child who came, every parent who trusted us with their kids, every volunteer who served, and every person who prayed for this week. We couldn't have done it without you.

As you watch this video, we hope you enjoy some of the memories from the week. More importantly, we hope the lessons these kids learned will stay with them long after the hard hats are put away!

❤️ Tomorrow is one of our favorite Sundays of the year! ❤️

After an amazing week of VBS, we're excited to celebrate everything the kids learned and experienced this week.

Here's the schedule for tomorrow:

📚 Sunday School (all ages) — 10:00 AM
⛪ VBS Program & Worship Service — 11:00 AM
🍔🌭 Free Lunch Immediately Following the Service

Our VBS kids will be sharing what they've learned this week during the service, so we'd love to see family members, grandparents, friends, neighbors, and anyone who wants to come support them!

A quick reminder:
👕 VBS kids should wear their white VBS shirts.
👕 VBS volunteers should wear their blue VBS shirts.

And after the service, don't make lunch plans! We'll have hamburgers, hot dogs, and plenty of food ready for everyone. Whether you attended VBS, have kids in the program, or just want to join us for worship and fellowship, you're invited.

🚧🦺 That’s a wrap on VBS 2026 😭❤️🦺🚧

Tonight was our final night of:
🧱 UNDER CONSTRUCTION: Building on God’s True Foundation 🧱

And what an incredible week it has been.

Tonight, the kids learned about 🧱 THE SAVING FOUNDATION 🧱 and heard about God’s love, mercy, grace, and the way He made for us to be saved...

JESUS is the only way!

This week has been full of music, games, crafts, snacks, Bible lessons, laughter, loud cheering, tired volunteers 😂, and SO many great memories. We are beyond thankful for every child, parent, volunteer, and visitor who was part of the week.

But we’re not done yet! 👷❤️

This Sunday, May 31, all of our VBS kids will be part of our VBS Program during the 11:00 AM church service, and we would LOVE for families and friends to come support them!

And right after the service, we’ll be having a FREE celebration lunch for:
🍔 VBS kids
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents
👵 Grandparents
👫 Friends
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Cousins
❤️ Anyone who wants to come watch our VBS program!

Seriously, everyone is welcome!

🦺🚧 Night 4 at VBS was one of our favorites so far ❤️🚧🦺

Tonight, the kids learned about 🧱 THE PERFECT FOUNDATION 🧱 and how God is holy, just, and ALWAYS right.

We talked about how God’s standards are perfect, even when the world around us constantly changes what it says is “right” or “wrong.” We need to do things HIS way.

The kids had a blast tonight with the games, music, crafts, snacks, and all the chaos that somehow comes with packing this many kids into one building for a week! 😂

And somehow tomorrow is already the FINAL night 😭

🧱 TOMORROW: THE SAVING FOUNDATION 🧱

Tomorrow night, we’ll finish the week by learning about God’s love, mercy, grace, and the way He made for us to be saved.

If your child hasn’t come yet this week, tomorrow night is still a great night to jump in! Just come a little early and we’ll get them checked in at the door 😊

⚡🦺 We’re halfway through VBS week already and tonight was a RECORD BREAKING night of 57 kids in attendance - we gain more every day! 🦺⚡

Tonight, the kids learned about 🧱 THE POWERFUL FOUNDATION 🧱 and just how powerful God really is!

We talked about how:
⚡ God knows everything
⚡ God is everywhere
⚡ God is stronger than anything we face

There were a lot of laughs tonight, a LOT of noise 😂, and a church building full of kids having the best time together.

🍳☕🥞 [COMMUNITY BREAKFAST!] This Saturday is our 5th Saturday Country Breakfast from 7:00–10:00 AM 🍳☕🥞

And honestly, there are few things in life more comforting than walking into a fellowship hall that smells like coffee, bacon, pancakes, and conversation with good people!

Some people come for the food.
Some come for the company.
Some come because they said they were “just stopping by for a minute” three breakfasts ago and never really left. 😂

It’s one of those mornings where people linger around the tables a little longer, refill their coffee a few more times, and catch up on life together.

So if your Saturday morning could use some good food and good people, come join us at New Hope. Bring your family, bring a neighbor, or come by yourself. You’ll leave full either way.

🚧🦺 Night 2 at VBS was AWESOME! 🦺🚧

Tonight, the kids learned about 🧱 THE STRONG FOUNDATION 🧱 and how God never changes no matter what happens around us.

Our construction crew discovered pretty quickly that if a foundation isn’t level and strong, everything built on top of it is affected, just like if God is not your foundation, your life can quickly crumble in an instant. 👷😂

There was a LOT of energy in the building tonight… games, music, snacks, crafts, cheering, and kids everywhere having a blast. We’re already making so many fun memories this week!

And tomorrow night is going to be BIG 👀

🧱 DAY 3: THE POWERFUL FOUNDATION 🧱

Tomorrow, we’ll learn that God is:
⚡ All-powerful
👀 All-knowing
🌎 Everywhere at all times

🚧🦺 [RECAP] Night 1 is in the books… and WOW what a fun night! 🦺🚧

Tonight at VBS, the kids learned about 🧱 THE RIGHT FOUNDATION 🧱 and why we can’t build our lives on opinions, feelings, or what other people say about God. Instead, we have to build on the truth of who God REALLY is.

Our “construction worker” learned pretty quickly that trying to build without a blueprint is a disaster, just like if you build your life without God's plan for you. 📐

Between the music, games, crafts, snacks, laughing, and all the excitement, the church was FULL of energy tonight and we loved every minute of it!

And good news… if your child missed tonight, they can still jump right in tomorrow night!

Tomorrow’s lesson:
🧱 THE STRONG FOUNDATION 🧱

👷 We’ll be talking about why God never changes — even when everything else does.

✝️ Happy Valentine’s Day!
For some of you, today is full of chocolate, flowers & sweet cards.
For some, it’s a normal Saturday with maybe a little extra red sprinkled in.
And for some, it can feel a little lonely.

❤️ Here’s the honest truth...

The best love story in your life isn’t the one you’re waiting on or the one you’re celebrating. It’s the one Jesus already wrote for you!

He didn’t love us because we were perfect. He didn’t wait for us to get it together. He chose us at our worst and stayed anyway. That’s not "Hallmark" love. That’s CROSS-shaped love.

John 15:13 says, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
..And that’s what He did.

So if you get flowers today, enjoy them. If you don’t, you’re still fully, completely, forever loved.

And that love isn’t going anywhere.

Jesus loves you!
