Today marks the closing of a chapter in the story of our Pike GBC family as Pastor Terry preached his 208th Sunday behind the pulpit—exactly four years from the day he began his ministry with us.
During a season that could have been filled with uncertainty, God graciously provided our congregation with peace, stability, and faithful leadership. We are thankful for the elders who persevered through countless applications, interviews, and personal sacrifices as they sought God’s direction in finding the right pastor to lead our church forward.
This week, we reflected on the past four years with grateful hearts, celebrating the peace, growth, and joy we have experienced together as a church family - including The Glessners.
As one chapter closes, another begins.
Next week, we look forward to welcoming Pastor Erik Brunk and his family as they join us in the next season of ministry at Pike. We are excited to see how God will continue to work in and through our church in the years ahead.
