Most of us don't struggle with believing Jesus is coming back.

We struggle with remembering it.

Life has a way of pulling our attention toward the immediate: work, bills, schedules, problems, goals, and responsibilities. None of those things are wrong, but they can become so loud that we lose sight of eternity.

That's why Scripture continually reminds us to be ready.

Not fearful.
Not obsessed.
Not trying to predict dates.

Ready.

Because when we remember that Jesus is coming again, it changes how we live today.

What a Sunday. 🩡 This weekend we celebrated the dads who lead, serve, sacrifice, and point their families toward Jesus. We worshiped together, spent time in community, and continued our Coming Soon series as we explored what the Bible teaches about the Rapture.

From families worshiping side by side to conversations in the lobby and moments spent in God's presence, we're grateful for all that God is doing at Two Rivers Church.

See you next Sunday! πŸ™Œ

Biblical knowledge is important, but knowledge alone isn't the goal.

Jesus isn't looking for people who can win every prophecy debate. He's looking for people who faithfully follow Him day after day.

The most prepared Christians aren't always the most informed. They're the most faithful.

When it comes to the end times, many people become obsessed with trying to identify the Antichrist, decode current events, or predict what's coming next. But that isn't the primary message of Scripture. The goal isn't becoming an expert on every counterfeit. The goal is becoming so familiar with Jesus that anything false becomes obvious. Jesus said, "My sheep know my voice." The safest place in confusing times isn't fear, speculation, or endless theories. It's a close relationship with Christ. When you know the Shepherd's voice, you're far less likely to follow a stranger. The call of Scripture isn't obsession. It's faithfulness.

This week in our Coming Soon series, we talked about staying grounded in Jesus and not being deceived by the countless voices competing for our attention. The goal isn't fear, it's faithfulness.

From powerful moments of worship to meaningful conversations in the lobby, from families finding community to people taking next steps in their faith, we're grateful for all God is doing in our church.

There's nothing quite like being together.

This Sunday we celebrated people publicly declaring their faith in Jesus through water baptism, and we'll never get tired of that. Every baptism represents a story. A life changed. A fresh start. A decision to follow Jesus no matter what comes next.
As a church, we celebrate every person who took this step of faith. Your church family is cheering you on, praying for you, and believing the best is still ahead.

There is nothing quite like watching God change lives. 🩡

So much of the conversation around the end times is focused on predicting dates, decoding headlines, and chasing theories.

Jesus gave us a different assignment.

Not to calculate.
Not to speculate.
But to be faithful.

The goal isn't to figure out when He's coming back. The goal is to be ready when He does.

Today we're celebrating the birthday of our lead pastor, Will Hampton! πŸŽ‰

Years ago, Pastor Will took a step of faith to plant Two Rivers Church with a simple mission: to lead people to Jesus. Since then, we've watched God do more than anyone could have imagined.

Lives have been changed. Families have been restored. People have found hope. Thousands have walked through our doors. And a church that started with a vision has become a home for so many.

Pastor Will, thank you for your faith, your sacrifice, your leadership, and your unwavering commitment to the people of this region. Your impact reaches far beyond what can be measured.

Today we celebrate you and thank God for the calling He placed on your life.

Happy Birthday, Pastor! We love you, we're grateful for you, and we're excited for all God has ahead. πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‰β€οΈ

Help us wish Pastor Will a Happy Birthday in the comments!

God is moving. Not just on the stage, but in conversations in the lobby. In people taking steps of faith. In baptisms. In prayers prayed with tears. In worship that comes from a grateful heart. This weekend we saw people seeking God, celebrating life change, and encouraging one another. The church isn't a building, it's people being transformed by Jesus together. We're grateful to be part of what God is doing in our city.
