As we celebrate Labor Day, may we remember that our work is more than a job, it is an opportunity to honor God and serve others with excellence.

What a beautiful afternoon of fellowship, friendship, and joy! 💐☀️

On July 23rd, the ladies of Calvary Community Wesleyan Church gathered for a wonderful Indoor Summer Picnic hosted by Joe & Sherry Walker. It was a special time filled with delicious food, heartfelt conversations, laughter, and the opportunity to get to know one another better.

Moments like these remind us that the church is more than a place we attend; it's a family where friendships are formed, lives are encouraged, and faith grows together.

A heartfelt thank you to Sherry for graciously opening her home and hosting such a warm and welcoming afternoon, and to everyone who brought food, shared in the fellowship, and helped make the day so memorable. We are already looking forward to the next gathering!

What a great day of fellowship! 🍔🌭🎣

Last Friday, the men of Calvary Community Wesleyan Church enjoyed an afternoon of great food, laughter, conversation, and encouragement together. We are so thankful for the opportunity to build friendships, strengthen our faith, and enjoy God's blessings in community.

Events like these remind us that church is more than a Sunday service—it's a family walking through life together.

Thank you to everyone who helped organize the picnic and to all the men who came out and made it such a wonderful time. We can't wait for the next one!

Join us for an exciting day of practical, hands-on evangelism training led by Mike Oudyn of Cup of Gold Water Ministry. During the morning session (9:00 AM–1:00 PM), you'll learn biblical principles and proven, practical methods for confidently sharing your faith, engaging people in meaningful Gospel conversations, inviting others to church, and leading people to Christ.

After a lunch break, we'll put what we've learned into action. From 3:00 PM–5:00 PM, participants will head into the community alongside experienced leaders to practice these new skills through real conversations, prayer, and outreach.

Whether you're new to evangelism or looking to become more effective, this training will encourage, equip, and empower you to make an eternal impact. Everyone is welcome — come be equipped, step out in faith, and help us reach our community with the hope of Jesus Christ.

Don and Bridget were part of our church for a number of years until the Lord led them eventually to found AIM, a ministry to rescue girls forced into s*x trafficking. Please pray for Bridget and the family as they walk through these days. And the AIM ministry staff and those who serve through that mission.

Dear AlM Community,
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved founder, friend, and mentor, Don Brewster.
Don dedicated his life to being a light in the darkest places, offering hope and healing to countless individuals affected by exploitation. His radical faith and compassionate spirit transformed lives and launched a global movement toward justice and restoration.
As we grieve this immense loss, we also celebrate the extraordinary legacy Don leaves behind. His vision and dedication have built a community committed to continuing the work he and Bridget so passionately led.
Your support is more important than ever in this time of mourning. Please pray for Bridget, but we ask that you allow her the space she needs to mourn and do not reach out to her directly. Let us come together to support one another, just as Don always supported those in need. His legacy lives on through each of us and the mission we continue in his honor. Your role in this community is invaluable, and we need you now more than ever.
Many of you may wish to honor Don's memory and celebrate his extraordinary life. While specific arrangements are still being determined, we understand the desire to pay respects and remember Don's impact. In the coming days, we will share updates regarding ways to honor his legacy as opportunities become available.
