🚢 Young at Heart Senior Adult Ministry Riverboat Cruise 🚢

Join us on Saturday, June 27th, for a fun-filled day trip to Knoxville, TN! Enjoy a scenic riverboat cruise, a delicious meal, and wonderful fellowship with friends old and new.

💲 Cost: $40.55 per person
✔️ Includes cruise, meal, tax, and gratuity

We will meet at the church that morning and travel together by bus. This is a great opportunity to connect, make new friendships, and enjoy a relaxing day together!

WHERE ELSE WOULD WE GO?

John 6:68 — “Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.”

Peter’s response remains one of the most profound declarations in Scripture. When others turned away, Peter recognized that there was nowhere else worth going. Christ alone possessed the words of eternal life.

The old life offers nothing worth returning to. Apart from Christ there is only instability, brokenness, addiction, deception, and dependence upon human strength. Everything that once held us captive remains empty when compared to the life found in Him.

Believers must regularly examine their souls and remember what Christ has delivered them from. Looking back with longing only distracts from the joy and hope that lie ahead.

The course may be difficult, but the destination is worth it. Heaven awaits those who remain faithful, and the promise of home should encourage every believer to finish strong.

Call to Action
Keep your eyes fixed on Christ and the home He has prepared for you. There is nothing behind you worth returning to and everything ahead worth pursuing.

Last night's Youth Kick Off to Summer was an amazing time filled with fun, laughter, and great fellowship! ☀️🎉 We enjoyed a powerful message from John titled *"The Real You,"* delicious walking tacos, and plenty of fun playing Octoball. What a great way to kick off an exciting summer together!

We are so excited about everything God has in store for our youth this summer!

We are getting excited about Rainforest Falls VBS and all that God is going to do! As we prepare for this incredible outreach opportunity, we still have a few donation needs:

WILL YE ALSO GO AWAY?

John 6:67 — “Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?”

Throughout life there are many things that tempt people to stop following Christ. Difficult circumstances, unanswered questions, disappointments, and hardships often cause people to reconsider their commitment to discipleship.

Jesus asked the twelve a direct question: “Will ye also go away?” That question still confronts believers today. When difficulties arise, will we remain faithful, or will we look for a reason to quit?

The Christian life is not free from challenges. There will be things we do not understand and situations we wish were different. Yet discipleship requires perseverance even when answers are not immediately available.

Every believer must answer Christ’s question personally. Faithfulness is demonstrated not when the path is easy, but when we choose to stay the course despite the challenges.

Call to Action
Answer Christ’s question with your life. Commit yourself to following Him faithfully regardless of the difficulties you encounter.
