May 2026 Ministry Report
Hello Friends and Followers of Jesus Christ!
In May, we had four M.A.D. Live Events scheduled. However, while traveling to Kansas and Missouri for the final two events, I experienced chest pains and ended up in the ER. Seven years ago, I had similar
symptoms that resulted in the placement of two stents, so this was understandably concerning. After spending a full day in the ER, all of the tests came back normal, and no immediate issues were found.
Because I still had approximately 13 hours of driving remaining to reach the events, I made the difficult decision to postpone that weekend of ministry. During a follow-up visit with my Doctor, my cardiologist’s physician assistant explained that I have two small arteries with partial blockages. Because of their size, stents are not a viable option. They believe these blockages were most likely the cause of the discomfort I experienced. While additional medication may help manage the condition, I would prefer not to add more medications if possible. We appreciate your prayers as we seek wisdom regarding my health and future travel plans. We are grateful that the test results were good and that the Lord continues to watch over and care for us.
In addition to the M.A.D. Live Events, I gave the Sunday morning worship service message at a church in Pennsylvania. We give God the glory for saving two more souls at our events this month!
Here’s some cool stuff… After one of our events in NC, a Sheriff's Deputy came up to me and shared how the training had impacted his life. He asked me for 300 Police Gospel cards. He planned on putting one in every sheriff's officer’s mailbox in the County. He then asked me for 150 more. He said he would go to all eight police departments in the County and make sure that every office got one! Wow! Glory to God! More seeds planted!
This past week was “EMS Week” in Washington County, TN. I provided 100 of my new First Responder cards to be distributed to each Fire and EMS worker in the county. Also, we donated some money to our local Fire Department, and I provided thirty First Responder cards so each volunteer would get one.
A testimony I received this month: “I’ve enjoyed and benefited from your training three different times. I wish each Christian church would have their members trained to share the Gospel one-on-one. I love the dynamic way you train. And I love the fact that the trainees go out and get people saved at gas stations on the way home!”
Cathy and I were also blessed to enjoy a much-needed break as we celebrated her birthday and Mother’s Day. We spent a long weekend at an RV resort in Dandridge, Tennessee, not far from home. We took a
few simple day trips, enjoyed the beauty of the area, and got some much-needed rest and relaxation. It was a refreshing and encouraging time away, and we are thankful to the Lord for providing us with this
opportunity to recharge before continuing the ministry He has called us to.
Years ago, I designed and had Police and Veteran Gospel cards printed. Every time I placed an order, I purchased 1,000 of each. As I travel, Ipersonally share these cards with police officers and veterans that I meet along the way. I also make them available free of charge at our M.A.D. Live Events so attendees can take them and share the Gospel with these public servants. For quite some time, I have wanted to create a Gospel card specifically for Firefighters and EMS personnel. These men and women serve our communities faithfully, often putting themselves in harm's way to help others in times of crisis. I am excited to report that I finally completed the
design of a "First Responder" Gospel card and revised my Veteran and Police Gospel cards as well. Check them out! Another great month of seed planting!
According to my Divine Appointment book, God allowed me the privilege of sharing the Gospel and some literature with 36 people this month. Here's the breakdown:
Police – 9 Veterans – 12 EMS - 2 All others - 13

• Aug 3 - Presentation to the Pastors of the Greater Cleveland County Baptist Association, Shelby, NC
