The City of Clinton is advising residents and motorists of an upcoming temporary closure of the Springdale Drive (SC 56) railroad crossing as CSX Transportation completes essential maintenance and repaving. The closure is scheduled for August 17–19, 2026, and motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and expect travel delays during the project.
