❄️ Weather Update from Westminster ❄️
Due to the snowstorm currently affecting our region, the elders of Westminster have made the decision to cancel both Sunday School and our Worship Service for tomorrow, Sunday, February 1, 2026.

While we won’t be able to gather together in person, we encourage each of you to worship personally or with your family at home.

If conditions allow, we will provide a livestream worship service at 10:45 AM featuring Pastor Chad and part of our music team. If we’re unable to livestream, a recorded sermon will be available by 10:45 AM on our YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/.

Out of an abundance of caution due to the near 100% forecast of freezing rain tonight (Saturday, 1/24) and tomorrow (Sunday, 1/25), the elders of Westminster have decided to cancel both Sunday School and Worship services for Sunday, January 25, 2026.
While we won’t be gathering in person, we encourage everyone to worship at home — personally or with your family. 🙏

🍂 Fall Festival at Westminster – All Are Welcome! 🍂
Mark your calendars! On Saturday, October 18, 5:00 – 7:30 pm, Westminster Presbyterian Church is hosting our Annual Fall Festival — and you’re invited!

Today we celebrated the gift of God’s goodness to us in Christ in a special way—by welcoming seven new members into our church family.

We are grateful for these new members, Jessie Davidson, Gracie Faulkenberry, Rachel Faulkenberry, David Jennings, Bill Riley, Caleb and Jess Satterfield, who have chosen to join us in living out God’s goodness together in Jesus. May their presence strengthen our fellowship, deepen our service, and remind us that God’s goodness is always at work by the Spirit through His people.
Welcome to the family—we’re so glad you’re here! 💙

Showing the Gospel to Others: Love for Our Neighbor
What does it truly mean to love our neighbor? This past Sunday, Pastor Chad explored how Christ calls us to a love that crosses worldly boundaries—one that is costly, risky, and reflects the very heart of Christ.
Through the parable of the Good Samaritan, we see that true neighborly love isn’t about convenience or comfort, but about stepping out in faith to show God’s love to those in need. Watch/listen and be challenged to live out the Gospel in your daily walk!

Join Us This December for a Special Sermon Series!

Westminster Presbyterian Church invites you to journey through the Book of Isaiah this Advent and Christmas season with our December 2024 series: "From Stump Kingdom to Oaks of Righteousness."

Together, we will explore key messianic passages that reveal the beauty of Jesus’ incarnational ministry. This Sunday, December 1, Cody will begin the series with Isaiah 6:1-13, “The Holy Seed.”

In the weeks to come, we’ll study themes such as:
✨ Jesus, Our Immanuel (Isaiah 7)
✨ The Zeal of the LORD (Isaiah 9)
✨ The Shoot from the Stump of Jesse (Isaiah 11)
✨ The Prepared Way of the LORD (Isaiah 40)
✨ The Restored Oaks of Righteousness (Isaiah 61)

Through this study, we will grasp the fullness of God’s grace and perfect work through his Son, Jesus. Let’s embrace the joy of his righteousness in every part of our lives this Advent season.

Fellowship. Fulfillment. Faithfulness. David explores all of these themes in Psalm 63 as he reflects on God’s steadfast love and gracious provision, even while he wandered in exile in the wilderness. We too can go through seasons of “wilderness wandering.” Psalm 63 is a reminder that even in lean times God fulfills us through His ongoing fellowship with us, enabling us to walk in faithfulness to Him. Today, we celebrated gratitude and community! During the worship service, we were blessed to welcome new members into our church family. Following the service, we gathered for our annual Thanksgiving soup luncheon, sharing delicious food, fellowship, and heartfelt thanks for the many blessings in our lives.

We are so grateful for this time together and for all who joined us today. ❤️
