Hello everyone, we would like to thank everyone who helped make our 100 year celebration special. Whether you helped by setting up, by tearing down, helped by being part of the worship, helped by providing photos or information for the video or the booklets, helped by participating in the other activities, or helped by coming and celebrating with us we greatly appreciated it. You guys are all amazing. We also want to thank Eat & Run Catering for providing the food today. We also want to give shout outs to our winners of the prize drawing.

Verse of the Day

Psalm 119:114

You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.The psalmist declares that God is his refuge or safe place and shield or his protector. Instead of putting his hope in people or circumstances, he places his trust in God's Word, knowing that God's promises are faithful and true.

God is our safe place and our protector. When we put our hope in His Word, we can trust Him to guide us, strengthen us, and care for us through every season of life.

Verse of the Day

John 1:12-13

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

John 1:12–13 teaches that becoming part of God's family doesn't happen because of who your parents are, your good works, or your own effort. It happens when you receive Jesus and put your faith in Him.

When you believe in Jesus, God gives you the privilege of becoming His child. This is a new spiritual birth that only God can give. It's not something you earn, it's a gift of His grace.

Everyone who believes in Jesus becomes a child of God, born into His family by God's power, not by human effort.

Matthew 5:14,16

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

Jesus tells His followers that they are the light of the world. Just as a city on a hill can be seen from far away, our lives should clearly reflect God's love and truth. Through our words, actions, and kindness, we point others to Jesus.

Let your life shine for Jesus. When others see your love, kindness, and faith, they are led to glorify God.

Psalm 119:93

I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.

The psalmist says he will never forget God's Word because it has guided, protected, and sustained him throughout his life. God's commands didn't just teach him, they gave him strength, wisdom, and spiritual life.

We must never forget God's Word. For it gives us wisdom, strengthens our faith, and helps us stay on the path of life.

Verse of the Day

Philippians 3:14

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Paul is saying that he won't let his past stop him. Instead, he keeps moving forward, staying focused on following Jesus every day. The "goal" is to live faithfully for Christ, and the "prize" is eternal life and being with Him forever.

We need to remember to never give up. Keep our eyes on Jesus, keep moving forward in faith, and trust that God has something far greater waiting for those who remain faithful.

Hebrews 12:1

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us

The writer compares the Christian life to a race. Because so many faithful believers have gone before us, we are encouraged to keep going. We should let go of anything that slows us down, especially sin, and stay focused on following Jesus with endurance, even when life is difficult.

We need to lay aside anything that keeps us from following God, and keep running the race of faith with perseverance. Don't give up—God has a purpose for our journey.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Faith is trusting God even when you can't see the outcome. It's having confidence that God will keep His promises and believing that He is working, even when there is no visible evidence yet.

Remember that faith is believing that God is faithful, even when you can't yet see what He is doing. Trust Him, because His promises are always true.
