It is with broken hearts that we honor the life and mourn the passing of a true saint of God. Sis. Lyle served Calvary for 42 years beside Pastor A.L. Lyle — she was a spiritual mother, a servant leader, and a foundational pillar in our church family.

Even after retirement, she has continued to serve Calvary & the Kingdom faithfully in countless ways, always with humility, kindness, and a deep love for God’s people. Her life and faith have forever shaped Calvary.

Through her prayers, her generosity, her strength, and her unwavering commitment to the Kingdom, she touched more lives than she ever knew.

Her legacy will live on in this church, in the people she poured into, and in the generations that follow. While we grieve her passing, we rejoice in the assurance that she has entered into the presence of her Savior and heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Please keep her family in your prayers, and join us in thanking God for the beautiful life and enduring legacy of this remarkable woman of faith.

Rev A W Sassman Prominent 20th Century American Pentecostal Evangelist holding a Baptismal Service at Harrisonburg Louisiana after his Famous "Courthouse Revival" in 1940-41.Coming from the Texas Hill Country he traveled to Louisiana with his Tent and "Sound Trucks " and preached several Tremendous Revivals on Fort Hill as well as in Downtown Jonesville. The Delta Theater in Jonesville actually shut down because the crowds at Bro Sassmans Tent were so large that No one was attending the picture show.He anointed people with oil and they would faint so the sheriff of Catahoula Parsh came out to the Tent in Jonesville and demanded that he turn over the bottle of oil that he was anointing people with.It was rumored that since Bro Sassman was German that Hi**er had sent him to Catahoula Parish to Destroy the Morality of the local.citizens.People began to call Pentecostals derogatory names such as "Holy Rollers" and claim that they were completely insane because of the shouting and "Speaking in Tongues" These were the days of Huey P Long and other strongmen and people were living in fear of the coming war with Hi**er

It is with deep sorrow, yet with unwavering hope, that we share the passing of our dearly loved Bishop Dana H. McKillop.

On December 10, 2025, in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, Bishop McKillop was called home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. Though our hearts are heavy at the loss of his presence with us and within our church family, we rejoice in the assurance that absent from the body is present with the Lord. Truly, this is the day that he lived for.

Bishop McKillop devoted his life to the work of the ministry — faithfully sharing God’s love, shepherding His people, and inspiring all those around him with compassion, wisdom, and steadfast faith. Today, he has realized the fulfilment of his desire of an everlasting home in Heaven.

Arrangements for his Home-going service will be announced at a later date.

We warmly invite everyone whose lives were touched by Bishop McKillop to join us in honouring and celebrating his noble legacy of ministry and service. Your prayers, support, and cherished memories bring comfort to his family and our church community during this time.
