Happy New Year!

This year we’re kicking off a new series called ACTS: Let’s Pray. Prayer is one of the most important parts of our relationship with God, so this month we are teaching your kiddos to pray using the ACTS model.

•Adoration - Praising God for who He is
•Confession - admitting our sins and repenting
•Thanksgiving - expressing thanks for all God has done
•Supplication - going to God with our needs

We hope that this model and some easy tools will help your kids grow closer to God through prayer.

Hey parents!

We can’t wait to see you and your kiddos for one of our Christmas Eve Services!

2:00 | 3:15 | 4:30

Here are a few important things to note:

1️⃣ We will have childcare for children up to age 7. This will not be like a Sunday service in OSC Kids.

2️⃣ For kids joining us in the sanctuary, we have an activity bag with sermon notes and other fun things for them to participate in the main service. They can even opt for a glow stick instead of a candle.

3️⃣ If you didn’t get a Sabbath Sunday bag, we will have them at the check-in desk and with your favorite greeters near the sanctuary doors. Please be sure to grab one to follow along with our special OSC Kids portion of the Sabbath Sunday online service on January 28th!

Hey parents!

You may have noticed the Parent Resource Center in the Kids Foyer, but if you haven’t, be sure to check it out this Sunday!

Our goal is to help you guide your kids on their spiritual journey. And I know what you may be thinking, where do I even start?!?!

It’s simple.

Start with Jesus! We’ve created a guide to help your child understand what it means to accept the gift of salvation and the importance of water baptism!

This guide is a great tool to help your kids begin to learn how to Know God, Live Free, and Make Disciples.

Hey OSC Kids! Happy November!

We’re kicking off a new series about Esther and Mordecai! Can you imagine if these cousins were spies sent on a mission to infiltrate the palace and thwart Haman's plot to harm the Jewish people?

It might sound like a stretch, but God was working behind the scenes the entire time, even though God's name is missing from the official records!

In this series, kids will learn that God gives me a mission, nothing will turn me away from God, I can stand up for God and others, and I can follow God even when nobody's watching.

Reminder for Sunday! Have the kids bring their Bibles to church!

📢Hey parents! IMPORTANT UPDATE!

For the month of October in OSC Kids, we are doing a deep dive on how to study the Bible. While this can be a challenging concept to teach, we as a church are passionate about Next Gen and equipping them to live a life of faith in Jesus!

We have taylored the month of October to be very age appropriate for each environment. However, we will be combining Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Graders all in the Pre-K room for Sundays.

HERE'S WHERE WE NEED YOUR HELP🫵
We are encouraging kids to bring their Bibles to church with them so that we can help them learn to look up Scripture in their own Bible.

Those that are in 2nd through 5th grades will be receiving a journal to take home and we will need your help to make sure they bring it on Sundays. We will have other activities for the younger kids as well.

We look forward to the month of October in OSC Kids with our new theme "Soap, Rinse, Repeat!"
