Good evening all Parishioners, we have an exiting weekend ahead of us in our community with our annual Jean Lafitte Seafood Festival, we wish to address parking concerns in regards to our weekend masses:

THE GOOD NEWS is that we will be able to come to mass a park in our parking lot as usual, the only difference is that we will have our parking lot blocked off ensuring our parishioners have parking coming to masses this weekend, It will be like normal. Please follow our page for further updates.

We are kindly also requesting assistance from our parishioners and community, if you see anyone moving barricades prior to masses please contact either 911, The Jean Lafitte Police, Department or 4PM Mass Captain Daniel Melancon at (504)881-3909. We will enforce towing at the owner’s expense. In addition we are kindly requesting that please refrain from parking in the driveway entrance by the rectory, Father Jude needs to have 24 hour access to perform his priestly duties

We wish to extend our thanks to Jean Lafitte Mayor Crain for assisting us with barricades and providing support to our Parish.

In addition, we thank the Jean Lafitte police department as well as the Jefferson Parish Sheriffs Office for working with us in making sure our Parish Grounds are safe this weekend.
—Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall inherit the kingdom of heaven—

We thank everyone for your support and cooperation, May God bless everyone and may yall have a safe weekend!

Good Monday Evening to all Parishioners we wish to share our parish updates for the Ascension of the Lord, everyone have a blessed week and may god and his grace be upon our bayou community!

- The Holy Father's intention for the month of May is: THAT EVERYONE MIGHT HAVE FOOD. Let us pray that everyone, from large producers to small consumers, be committed to avoid wasting food, and to ensure that everyone has access to quality food.

- May Devotion: May is the month of Mary - dedicated to the Blessed Mother. We encourage all our parish families to show devotion to the Blessed Mother by praying the Holy Rosary daily at home.

- ST. ANTHONY FEAST DAY (Family Celebration): This year, we will be celebrating our parish feast day on Sunday, June 14, 2026 after the 10:00 A.M. Mass. It will be in the form of a potluck. Everyone should be preparing, and kindly confirm with Mrs. Roberta and the Ladies of the Altar Society what each might be bringing for the celebration. The venue will be in the parish hall. Games will be organized for the children. It will be fun-packed. Let's Celebrate!!!

- Next Sunday is Pentecost Sunday, and we encourage parishioners to consider joining in praying the Nine Days Novena to the Holy Spirit that is now ongoing.

- We invite individuals or business owners to consider advertising in our parish bulletin. If you are interested, please contact the parish office or Fr. Jude directly.

- We kindly encourage parishioners who wish to have their Mass intentions or other important information published in the bulletin to submit them to the parish office at least two weeks before the bulletin is published. Please don't wait until the last minute.

- Meanwhile, we continue to encourage parishioners to consider attending morning masses here in our parish. Let us build our parish community around the table of the Holy Eucharist, which is the source and summit of the Christian life. Please be reminded that mass intentions can also be booked for both the living and the dead during weekday masses, not just Sundays.
