📖 BEAMS SUNDAY | SEPTEMBER 6

We are looking forward to a special BEAMS Sunday this week at Grace Baptist Church!

We are excited to welcome Br. Butch Lockard, who will be preaching for us in both our morning and evening services.

One of the highlights of BEAMS Sunday is the opportunity to help send the Word of God around the world. We will be sending out Bibles again this year! What a privilege to have a part in placing the Scriptures into the hands of people who need them.

Make plans to join us this Sunday as we hear great preaching and come together to help send Bibles around the world!

On Sunday, August 30, Grace Baptist Church had the privilege of honoring some very special people: our faithful volunteers.

Week after week, so much takes place at Grace Baptist Church because of people who are willing to serve. From maintenance, greeting, cleaning, choir, ushering, teaching, bus ministry, media, nursery, and so many other ministries, there are faithful servants working behind the scenes to make it all happen.

God has blessed Grace Baptist Church with 86 volunteers who faithfully give of their time, talents, and energy to serve the Lord and others. We could never adequately express how thankful we are for each one of them. Every act of service matters, whether it is seen by many or known by only a few.

One of the highlights of our Servant Sunday was our annual ministry competition. After a great evening of competition and fellowship, the Bus Ministry came out on top and took home the GBC Ministry Cup for the second year in a row! Congratulations to our Bus Ministry team on defending their title!

We also had the privilege of recognizing two faithful men who have served Grace Baptist Church for many years as choir directors.

We were honored to present the Make His Praise Glorious Award to Bro. Monty McNutt and Bro. Alan Holley.

Both of these men have invested countless hours in the music ministry of Grace Baptist Church, faithfully using their gifts to help our church lift its voice in praise to the Lord. Their years of service have made a lasting impact on our church family, and we are grateful for their faithfulness.

To all 86 of our volunteers, thank you. Grace Baptist Church is blessed because you are willing to serve, give, help, teach, lead, encourage, and faithfully work behind the scenes.

We thank God for every one of you!

WHY DO YOU SERVE?

We asked some of the people at Grace Baptist Church a simple question: “Why do you serve?”

Their answers may be different, but they all point to something important. Serving is more than filling a position or completing a task. It is an opportunity to love people, make a difference, and use what God has given us for His glory.

Every person has a place. Every ministry matters. And there is a place for YOU!

If you are not currently serving in a ministry at Grace Baptist Church, we would love to help you get involved. Whether it is welcoming guests, working with children, serving in the bus ministry, helping behind the scenes, or one of the many other opportunities throughout our church, there is a place where you can make a difference.

What a wonderful Friends & Family Sunday we had at Grace Baptist Church!

We are praising God for 28 visitors who joined us on Sunday! What an incredible answer to prayer!

Thank you to everyone who prayed, invited friends and family, served, welcomed our guests, and helped make the day so special. **God answered our prayers**, and we are so thankful for each person He brought our way.

Our prayer is that Grace Baptist Church was a blessing to every guest who walked through our doors, and that they felt genuinely welcomed and loved.

To God be the glory for a wonderful Friends & Family Sunday!
