👀 What does God see?

In Judges 3, Israel's greatest problem wasn't what others saw, it was what God saw.

Sunday evening, Pastor Shannon Foote challenged us with a powerful truth: Victory begins when we learn to see things the way God sees them.

✅ What God Saw
✅ What God Sent
✅ What God Selected
✅ What God Subdued

The same God who sees our failures also sees our faithfulness, our surrender, and our desire to walk with Him.

Happy Father’s Day!

Today, as we reflect on the Lord’s Prayer, we are reminded that Jesus taught us to begin with these powerful words: “Our Father.”

Before the requests, before the needs, before the answers, there is a relationship. The Lord’s Prayer invites us into the loving presence of our Heavenly Father; a Father who knows us, cares for us, provides for us, and desires a close relationship with us.

Whether you are celebrating with family, honoring the memory of a father, or seeking the love of a Father who never fails, we invite you to join us as we worship and grow together in faith.

ABIDE IN ME AND BEAR MUCH FRUIT

What a tremendous message from God's Word this past Sunday as Pastor Shannon Foote preached from John 15:1-8.

Jesus reminds us that:
The Father is the Husbandman
Christ is the Vine
We are the Branches

One of the most powerful truths from the message was:

"The pruning knife is not evidence of rejection; it is evidence of relationship."

God's desire is not merely that we bear fruit, but that we bear MORE fruit and MUCH fruit for His glory.

As we abide in Christ, God produces:

Fruit of Converts – bringing others to Christ
Fruit of Character – becoming more like Christ
Fruit of Conduct – living in a way that reflects Christ

The question is not whether God is working in our lives. He always is.

The question is:

Are we abiding?

Are we remaining close to Christ?
Are we depending on Him daily?
Are we yielding to His pruning work?
Are we bearing fruit that glorifies God?

May we determine this week to stay connected to the Vine and allow the Father to cultivate lives that bring Him honor and glory.

We are excited to welcome Missionary Mark Holmes and his family to Grace Baptist Church of Marrero this evening!

Bro. Holmes serves as a missionary to Nigeria, and we are looking forward to hearing how God is working in this great nation through their ministry. Come be encouraged by the testimonies of lives being changed by the Gospel and gain a greater vision for what God is doing around the world.

Most importantly, Bro. Holmes will be bringing a message from God's Word that is sure to be a blessing and challenge to our hearts.
