“God did not save us to merely keep us out of hell… He saved us so we could be near to Him.”

Sin does more than bring consequences or embarrassment. Its greatest damage is that it breaks fellowship with God.

What a powerful reminder from Pastor Shannon Foote this Sunday morning:
God desires closeness with His people. Through Christ, we are invited into fellowship, communion, and daily relationship with Him.

Don’t settle for distant Christianity when God has made a way for you to walk near to Him.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice purchased freedoms that we enjoy every day, and we are forever grateful.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we never forget those who paid the ultimate price for our nation.
