A good magic trick will leave you completely baffled.
“How did they do that?”
“That can’t be real.”
“That was amazing.”
There is a mystery about a good magic trick that leaves us in awe & asking so many questions.
A similar thing should happen with the church & the world. When the world looks at how the people of God operate it should baffle them, leave them in awe, & cause them to ask questions. We aren’t like the world in how we live, think, & behave. It shouldn’t make sense to the world & should leave them with questions.
What is it exactly though about the people of God that would seem mysterious to the world?
