We exist to proclaim the Word of God and to make mature disciples of Christ for the glory of God. Tar Landing Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church with strong conservative beliefs and practices. Our calling is to worship God and to give a faithful witness to salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. We are committed to Sola Scriptura - Scriptures alone.

Adult Bible Study is at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary.

Next Gen Ministries are back in full swing this Wednesday night at 6:30 PM!

Our Youth have already gotten off to a great start, and this Wednesday, Word of Life, Gopher Buddies, and Mission Friends are starting back! We are looking forward to another great year of helping children and students grow in their knowledge of God’s Word, build relationships, and learn what it means to follow Jesus.

Here’s where everyone fits:

• Mission Friends — Ages 2–3/4
• Gopher Buddies — Pre-K & Kindergarten
• Word of Life Olympians — 1st–6th Grade
• Youth — 7th–12th Grade

There is a place for the whole family on Wednesday nights, and we would love to have you with us!

Both pastors and church members have a responsibility to be humble and intentional with fellow Christians. Christ entrusted pastors with the care of His flock and will be rewarded for being faithful to that mission. Church members have a duty to submit to Godly instruction and corrections from their pastor. This is how the church can give glory to God.
