📍The Exodus Reveals Christ: From Bo***ge to Eternal Inheritance:

When we read the Scriptures in the counsel and interpretation of the Holy Spirit God, this is what we understand: the Old Testament reveals Christ Jesus and His holy ways for us to follow today.

👉Egypt = The land of sin, bo***ge, slavery to sin, its consequences, and its curses.

👉Pharaoh of Egypt = Satan and the rulers of darkness in high places in this world, who hold people captive and resist the deliverance of God.

👉Israel in bo***ge = The people of God, including us before redemption, trapped under oppression, sin, fear, labor, and spiritual captivity.

👉The cry of Israel = The cry of the afflicted heart that reaches heaven when the people are weary under sin, oppression, and bo***ge.

👉God hearing their cry = The mercy of God responding to the suffering of His people and remembering His covenant.

👉Moses = A shadow and type of Jesus Christ, our Deliverer, Savior, and Messiah.

👉The burning bush = The holy calling and revelation of God, where God reveals Himself and sends His servant with divine authority.

👉Moses confronting Pharaoh = Jesus Christ confronting the kingdom of darkness and commanding freedom for those who belong to God.

👉The plagues of Egypt = The judgments of God against the false gods, pride, systems, and powers that exalt themselves against Him.

👉The Passover lamb = Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, whose blood delivers us from judgment and death.

👉The blood on the doorposts = The blood of Jesus Christ covering, protecting, redeeming, and marking the people of God as His own.

👉The Red Sea = The separation between the old life and the new life; the death of the old bo***ge and the beginning of the walk of faith.

👉Crossing the Red Sea = Baptism and deliverance, where the people of God leave Egypt behind and pass into a new journey with God.

👉Pharaoh’s army drowned = The defeat of Satan’s pursuing powers and the destruction of the old bo***ge that tried to reclaim God’s people.

👉The wilderness = The place of testing, purification, dependence, humility, and learning to walk by faith and not by sight, where God separates our attachment from this world, its lusts, and its desires.

👉Manna from heaven = Jesus Christ, the true Bread from heaven, and the daily Word of God that sustains the believer.

👉Water from the rock = The living waters of the Holy Spirit God flowing from Christ Jesus to refresh and sustain His people.

👉The cloud by day and fire by night = The guidance, covering, protection, and presence of God leading His people.

👉Testing and backsliding in the wilderness = The place where many turned back in their hearts to Egypt, which represents sin. Instead of being satisfied with the heavenly Bread of Life, Jesus Christ, they began craving the lusts, desires, comforts, money, attention, and pleasures of this world.

👉Mount Horeb / Mount Sinai = The place of encounter, covenant, holiness, and the presence of God the Father.

👉Moses leading them to Mount Horeb = Jesus Christ leading us into the presence of God the Father.

👉Moses giving the law at Mount Horeb = A shadow of Jesus Christ giving us His words. As we daily read, meditate, obey, and apply His words to our lives, His divine instruction is fulfilled and written upon our hearts by the Spirit of God.

👉The tabernacle = Christ dwelling among His people and the pattern of worship, holiness, sacrifice, and access to God.

👉The priesthood = A shadow of Jesus Christ, our great High Priest, who brings us before the Father.

👉The sacrifices = The foreshadowing of the one perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

👉The promised land = The life of covenant fullness, fruitfulness, inheritance, obedience, and eternal rest with God in heaven.

👉Canaan’s giants = The strongholds, fears, enemies, temptations, and spiritual battles that must be overcome by faith and obedience in order to possess the inheritance God has promised.

Wherever you are in your journey with Jesus Christ, remember that this is a race. There will be many hurdles, battles, tests, and warfare to overcome before we possess our eternal inheritance in heaven. Many began the journey out of Egypt, but gave up midway between Horeb and the promised land. They traded their eternal inheritance for earthly desires.

Therefore, do not turn back to Egypt in your heart. Do not become satisfied with the temporary comforts of this world. Do not exchange the Bread of Life for the cravings of the flesh. Keep your eyes on Jesus Christ, follow His words, endure the wilderness with faith, overcome the giants through obedience, and finish the race set before you.

For Christ Jesus did not deliver us from Egypt so we could die in unbelief in the wilderness. He delivered us so we could belong to God, walk in holiness, be transformed by His Word and Spirit, and enter into the eternal inheritance prepared for those who love Him and obey Him.

📍The True Condition Of The Human Spirit Before God:

When we stand before God at the end of our earthly life, we will be stripped of everything outward. We will not stand before Him with our titles, possessions, popularity, image, applause, and even our physical body. We will stand before Him in the true condition of our original state-the spirit, the breath of life that came from God.

Genesis 2:7 teaches that God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into him the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 says that the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

So when our earthly life is finished, the body returns to the dust, but the spirit returns before God who gave it. This is why we must be careful how we shape and mold the identity of our innermost being, the essence of who we are before God-our spirit.

If we allow our spirit and heart to be shaped by emotional bo***ge, trauma, pride, ego, lust, hatred, worldliness, shallowness, foolishness, and the desires of the fallen world, then we stand before God in an unclean and undesirable state.

Jesus warned the lukewarm church:

Revelation 3:16 says that because they are lukewarm, neither cold nor hot, He will spew them out of His mouth.

This shows that God does not receive a mixed, lukewarm, poisoned, and corrupted spiritual condition of our human spirit as pleasing to Him. Just as the body breathes out what is unwanted and not useful, God rejects what is spiritually unclean, polluted, and corrupted by the fallen world. He does not receive an unclean spirit as something pleasing to Himself. Such a soul will not share in eternal oneness with God, but will be cast out into outer darkness.

Matthew 8:12 speaks of those cast out into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.

Matthew 5:8 says, “Blessed… are the pure in heart,” for they shall see God.

Hebrews 12:14 teaches us to strive to live in peace with everyone and pursue holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

Therefore, beloved, we must not allow our inner being to be molded by pride, lust, hatred, ego, trauma, worldliness, shallowness, or foolishness. We must allow God to cleanse, heal, purify, and sanctify us through His truth, the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit God.

Because when we stand before God, what will remain is not our outward life, but the true condition of our heart and spirit before Him.

Take time to read, hear, and meditate on the Word of God, so that it can change the inner state of your spirit from glory to glory, conforming you into the image of Jesus Christ alone.

2 Corinthians 3:18 teaches that as we behold the glory of the Lord, we are constantly being transformed into His very own image from one degree of glory to another by the Spirit of the Lord.

📍When Man-Made Systems Reject God’s Anointed:

The leadership in many ministries and churches today is often filled with individuals who operate in and promote celebrity culture, self-power, fleshly ambition, and man-made systems, except for a few faithful exceptions, of course.

This clearly resembles what Jesus Christ, our Master and Savior, went through among the spiritual leaders of His time—the Pharisees and those in the synagogues. Religion had a place, leaders had a place, traditions had a place, but the Son of Man had no place to lay His head.

Jesus Himself said:

“The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.” Matthew 8:20 KJV

As we follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, we will face similar setups. Prophets are not celebrities or self-appointed voices. They are God’s spokesmen, called to communicate His will, reveal His purposes, teach His truth, warn His people, and call them back to obedience. Prophets and God’s anointed servants are often rejected, not first by the world, but by those who should have received the word of God.

Jesus said:

“A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.” Matthew 13:57 KJV

So when true servants of God are rejected, ignored, pushed aside, or treated as strangers by religious systems, it should not surprise us. The same spirit that resisted Christ still resists those who carry His truth.

If God has given you grace to be in a leadership position, be diligent and faithful in that position. Support, strengthen, and honor the servants of God anointed by Holy Spirit God. Do not support leaders who operate in the flesh for applause, recognition, control, or self-power.

At the end, nothing belongs to us. Everything belongs to Jesus Christ. Every position, every title, every platform, every opportunity, and every responsibility will be tested before God.

Be faithful. Be discerning. Honor what God has anointed, not what man has promoted-Evg.Samuel Meesala
