Our building is over 120 years old and is structured in the Anglican (Church of England) style, with a divided choir and central altar focus. Th

e building's granite structure owes its origins to local stone or "poor rock" from the iron mines. However, the Church is more than a building--it is a symbol of the resurrected Christ and a place where his disciples may come in safety and worship Him. The 2026 Michigan Annual Conference begins with the theme “Love Boldly,” drawn from The United Methodist Church’s new vision statement and rooted in Christ’s commandment to love one another.

Today’s Daily News includes Friday’s highlights, a preview of Opening Worship at 1 p.m., mission opportunities including Rice Meal Packing, the Zero-K fundraiser and Mission Festival, and reflections from Michigan churches answering the question, “How does your church love boldly?”
