ATTENTION CAMPERS: Two rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms are likely tonight and again Saturday afternoon/evening. Widespread damaging winds in excess of 70 mph are likely tonight, which may knock down trees and power lines. Large hail and isolated tornadoes will also be possible. If you plan to be out camping tonight, you may be putting yourself in danger! Consider changing your plans, or have a plan for taking sturdy shelter in case severe weather strikes your area. Have multiple ways to receive warning information! Remember that tents and RVs are NOT safe shelters!

Heads Up: A Winter Storm is expected to impact northwest Wisconsin and parts of northeast Minnesota Tuesday night into Wednesday. Heavy snow, blowing snow, gales on Lake Superior, and lakeshore flooding are all possible. Our forecast will change, but today and tomorrow are the time to prepare - plan to avoid travel on Wednesday if at all possible (get all those Thanksgiving dinner ingredients today or Tuesday!) and be prepared for possible power outages.
