Good afternoon my dear friends. I pray you are having a wonderful day...studying and rightly dividiing the Holy Word of God.

I was pondering the Holy Word of God and heard this word in my spirit...so I began to write and this poem was written..

Ths title is...Fire and brimstone

Today...there are many thieves...in heists
and they continue going after...their likes

The Gospel they hear...but don't shed a tear
and they run to and fro...without any fear

To them stealing from others is a way of life
and they're so wrong, yet build much strife

One day they'll stand before...their Judge
and all of their sin will be...a great smudge

Their sentence will show...they are all alone
for they'll be in a place...with Fire & brimstone

What happens if the Christian Church is in the Tribulation period?

Good afternoon my dear friends! I pray you are having another awesome day walking with Jesus...in the Spirit.

In this writing...I will ask all of you to pay very close attention because what I share with you...is very, very critical...for your complete understanding.

Recently...I have been in a very deep discussion on the rapture and the Tribulation period... known as...Jacob's trouble. See Jeremiah 30:7.

The first point...is the Holy Spirit and the operation He has during Jacob's Trouble.

As shown in Revelation 7:1-8...the seal of God on the 144,000...is external...and on their foreheads...for all to see.

Our seal of God in the Church age...is different for our seal...is internal. See Ephesians 1:13...

Which...in verse 14...is the earnest of our inheritance. The question is...then...

what is our inheritance as born again, washed, saved, sanctified, & justiified believers in Jesus Christ?

Here is the powerful answer...the Kingdom of God...in heaven...not the kingdom of David... on earth...the Jews inherit the kingdom of David... not us.

So...if the Christian Church is in the Tribulation period...this is what is going to happen...

1) First and foremost...we lose our internal seal....not our salvation. Why? God is not the authur of confusion...see 1 Corinthians 14:33.

In Jacob's Trouble...there is no dual operation of the Holy Spirit. There is only one operation and that is external...in Jacob's Trouble.

Remember the thief on the cross? He believed on Jesus...and said...remember me when you come into your Kingdom.

Jesus said...Today...you shall be with me in paradise. The thief was not sealed...because the Holy Spirit was external...

And because Jesus was not dead...so the thief was saved but not sealed because he was dying on the cross.

So...in the Church Age...our internal seal is very important because not only is our seal the earnest of our inheritance...

but also part of our protection from the forces of darkness. See Isaiah 54:17 & Psalm 91:11.

Point #2...Since we don't have our internal seal...we become open game...for the forces of evil.

Remember Judas Iscariot...at the last supper? Satan entered Judas after the Holy Spirit moved away from him...

because as the Holy Spirit was upon him... Satan couldn't touch him. See John 13:27.

Point #3...We will have an opportunity to die for Christ...by the sword...by guillotine...by famine and starvation, and

or by becoming the next meal of an animal... both domestic and wild. See Revelation 6:8.

These events all take place in the first 42 months of Jacob's Trouble. As you can clearly see...

Without the internal seal of the Holy Spirit, the Christian Church as a whole will die in the 1st 42 months of Jacob's Trouble.

Ladies and Gentlemen...I declare...The Living Word...of the Lord unto you...

The Christian Chuch...will not be in the Tribulation period...instead...we are appointed to receive...

The earnest of our inheritance...which is the Kingdom of God in heaven...and we receive our inheritance before the Tribulation period begins. See Acts 15:16a...on the Day of Christ!

I pray you are blessed and encouraged in your walk of faith in Jesus Christ! Keep looking up...for our redemption draweth nigh!

What are the requirements for entering into the Tribulation period?

Good early morning my friends. I pray you have an awesome day studying the Holy Word of God...

and gaining wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as you rightly divide the Word of Truth. See 2 Timothy 2:15.

This early morning...I want to pose a question to you and hopefully get you to think about your answer.

The question is...what are the requirements to enter into The Day of the Lord...also known as...the Tribulation period???

Believe it or not...there are certain requirements to enter The Day of the Lord. Why? God is a God of order...not the god of disorder. See 1 Corinthians 14:33

1 Corinthians 14:33...For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Did you notice churches...is plural...so...let us take a look at all of the churches...of the saints...

1) The Church of Abraham-Gen. 15:5-6
2) The Church of Issac -Gen. 26:4
3) The Church of Jacob-Gen. 28:14

These are the churches of the saints...and of the Household of God. See Ephesians 2:19.

So...what are the requirements for entering into the Day of the Lord? They are as follows...

1) You must be...a blinded Jew...with gene markers...see Zechariah 13:8-9...along with John 1:11 & Romans 11:7c - 8.
2) You must be...an unsaved Gentile...why is this so very important?

Because...a saved Gentile or Jew who has been washed in the shed blood of Jesus, sanctified- meaning set apart from the world,

& justiified...meaning declared not guilty... cannot enter into the Day of Darkness. See Amos 5:18. They cannot enter. See 2 Corinthians 6:17.

You want Scriptural proof? Alright...please open your Bibles to 1 Thessalonians 5:9...

The Bible says...For God hath not appointed us to wrath,

that is Satan's wrath, the wrath of the Antichrist, the wrath of the false prophet. as well as the wrath of God...

But to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. This is what we have been appointed to do. We have not been appointed to suffer in the Tribulation period.

Why is this so very important to know and understand? Simply because of what Jesus declared in Matthew 16:18...

Matthew 16:18...And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Now...please take a second look at the churches of the saints above...what do you see???

The Church of Abraham...saved and born again, sanctified, & justified...meaning declared not guilty.

The Church of Isaac...saved and born again, sanctified, & justified...meaning declared not guilty.

The Church of Jacob...which consists of blinded Jews...who are not saved.

Now according to Jesus Christ...He will build His Church...and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it.

Well the Church of Jesus Christ consists of the Friends of the Groom and the bride of Christ...

So...the gates of hell cannot overcome the bride of Christ nor the Friends of the Groom. Why? Jesus said so.

But you will have aome people who will disagree with Jesus. So...the only chuch of saints that the Antichrist can overcome and prevail against...

is the Church of Jacob...also known as the Church of the Wilderness. See Acts 7:38.

So...when you read Revelation 13:7...this is what the Bible says...

13:7...And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and overcome them, and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Do you see this? The Antichrist is able to make war with them, and overcome them...

because they have not the Holy Spirit upon them...because the operation of the Holy Spirit...changed...from indwelling in tbe Church age.. to upon them in the Tribulation age.

Since these saints of the Church of the Wilderness are not saved yet...the Holy Spirit is not upon them.

So...let us review...to enter into the Tribulation period...the following criteria must be met...

1) You must be...a blinded Jew...see Zechariah 13:8-9...along with John 1:11 & Romans 11:7c - 8.
2) You must be...an unsaved Gentile.

Now...when the rapture takes place...the bride of Christ and the Friends of the Groom are taken to heaven...

and we are judged and hidden...until the wrath of God on earth is over. See Isaiah 26:20, 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9,...

Revelation Chapters 4-18...the Christian Church is absent in mention...because we are not in these chapters...we are in heaven and hidden... from any and all wrath.

I pray you are blessed and encouraged in your walk of faith in Jesus Christ! Amen and Amen 🙏

Is the rapture...timed?

Good morning my dear friends! I pray you have an awesome Tuesday walking with Jesus and listening to His still small voice.

I was in a discussion over this past weekend and a question was asked...what is the timing of the rapture?

This morning...I want to explain why the rapture...is not timed...as some people teach...specifically...the Post-Tribbers.

To make the rapture timed...one must align the rapture with the Day of the Lord...doing this...

makes an unknown...known...which is not supported in Holy Scripture nor in the Law of Moses.

To teach the rapture correctly and Biblically...one must align the rapture with the Day of Christ. See 2 Thessalonians 2

Why? Both events are imminent...meaning unknown...they can occur at anytime... without warning!!!

The Day of Christ...is a day of light...not darkness. We who believe...are children of the Day. We are not of the night. See 1 Thessalonians 5:5.

In contrast...the Day of the Lord...is a Day of darkness and not light. See Amos 5:18. Those people in darkness...are not saved.

Why is this so important? Simply because... the devil doesn't need to know God’s plan for the bride of Christ & the Friends of the Groom.

Note: The bride of Christ...is the Church of Abraham's spiritual seed. See Genesis 15:5-6, Galatians 3:7, & Ephesians 5:27.

The Friends of the Groom...is the Church of Isaac's spiritual seed. See Genesis 26:4, Romans 9:7, and Acts 2.

Remember 1 Corinthians 2:7-8...King James Version...

7...But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8...Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Keeping the rapture...timed-less...meaning imminent...keeps the devil in the dark... otherwise...he would do all he could to keep the rapture from occurring.

Just remember 1 Corinthians 2:7-8 above... had the devil known God’s plan for the cruifixion of Jesus Christ...Judas would have never betrayed Jesus...

Thus keeping the rapture timed-less... creates...a holy hidden Wisdom...that God reveals to certain people in the Church that no body else knows. See Amos 3:7...

7...Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

So...the question is...why do some Christians really need the rapture timed? Please listen very carefully...

Here is the powerful answer...they need the rapture timed...so that they can...continue living in sin...for when...the timing of the rapture comes...

They can repent...just before the timing...and begin living holy lives and then go to heaven. God doesn't play this way...period.

A second reason is...so the Church age continues right into the Tribulation age so the Gospel of Grace can be preached by them...the Post-Tribbers.

The rapture...ends the Church age...and is no more...which makes room for the Tribulation age to begin. We see this clearly in Acts 15:16.

The Day of Christ-->After this...Acts 15:14... I will return. This is when the rapture occurs... and as you can see...no one knows the exact time...when the last Gentile is saved.

In Acts 15:17a.. we see the English word residue...which comes from the Greek word...cataloipas...which means...left down behind...which points back to Acts 15:16a.

The Day of the Lord-->The rebuilding of the Tabernacle of David. See Acts 15:16b.

When this event begins...all one has to do is count 2520 days ahead... and you will know the exact date of the rapture...which makes an unknown...known...and not imminent!

Please listen very carefully...The Kingdom Age of Jesus Christ...is never ushered in...by the Christian Church and a pulpit.

No, no, no!!! Instead...The Kingdom Age of Jesus Christ...is ushered in...by the rebuilt Tabernacle of David. See Acts 15:16b.

Here is the rule...the kingdom of David... ushers in...The Kingdom...of Jesus Christ. Remember...David was a man after God’s own heart. See 1 Samuel 13:14.

A Church and a pulpit...never ushers in... the Kingdom Age of Jesus Christ. Never has and never will!!!

Why? The Gospel of Grace...is not a Kingdom Gospel. The Gospel of the Kingdom... is...the Kingdom Gospel! See Matthew 4:17!

I encourage you my friends...continue reading and studying your Bibles. The devil is on the war path...and you need your Spiritual armour. See Ephesians 6:10-18.

I pray you are blessed and encouraged in your walk of faith in Jesus Christ! Amen and Amen 🙏 Tonight...sleep...in peace...for God is watching over you!

A continuation of the expository examination of John 17 the prayer of Jesus...

Good evening my friends. I pray you had another awesome day with Jesus...and studying His Holy Word.

We will continue our expository examination of John 17...picking up with John 17:10...

10...And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

Take a very close look at what Jesus prayed above...what do you see? Jesus prays a very specific word about...all...12...men...given unto him by His Father in Heaven.

Please pay very close attention...Jesus says...And all mine are thine, and thine are mine...what do you see?

Something very powerful is being established here in this prayer? What is Jesus Christ establishing?

That Jesus and the Father in heaven...are one...meaning...what one has...the other one has the same. Let this sink in.

Jesus proves this very point in John 10:30... Jesus says...I and my Father are one. Isn't this powerful??? Indeed it is.

Jesus and the Father in heaven are one...not the same person...no no...but both persons are part of the One God...and the Holy Spirit makes the...One God...3 persons...a Biblical reality.

Many Christians struggle to understand the Holy Trinity...but with the help of the Holy Spirit...one can understand and gain much wisdom.

Now...continuing with John 17:10...Jesus said...and I am glorified in them.

How was Jesus glorified in His 12 Disciples? Here is the powerful answer.

Jesus was glorified in His disciples because of the following...

1) they believed
2) they received the Father's Words...you can't receive without believing first
3) they kept the Father's Words

4) they have known what was given to Jesus were given by the Father
5) they believed Jesus came out from the Father
6) they believed Jesus was sent into this world by His Father.

Now...study these 6 reasons...how Jesus was glorified in His 12 disciples...and take a look at yourself in the mirror...and see how Jesus is glorified in your life.

Ponder...the image in your mirror...what do you see? What is lacking in your life?

Let us continue with John 17:11...Jesus prayed...

And now I am no more in this world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those who thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

This part of the prayer of Jesus is very powerful, why? Jesus knew He was leaving this world...so He prayed as though He was already gone.

So He prays...but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Before Jesus left this world... He came to His Father...and asked him to do something.

What did Jesus ask of His Father? Jesus asked His Father to keep through His own name those whom thou hast given him. Why?

Jesus...in this prayer...was asking His Father to cover these 12 disciples...while he departed this earth...until the Holy Spirit was sent by the Father. See John 14:26.

And Jesus prayed in this fashion so that the 12 disciples would become one with Jesus as Jesus is one with His Father.

This is very powerful...because Jesus knew how conniving Satan is...so as Jesus departed this earth...

The Father in heaven covered...(protected)... these 12 disciples until the comforter was sent unto them. See Acts Chapter 2.

This proves...just how much Jesus loved His 12 disciples His Father gave him. He loved them enough to ask His Father to protect them in His absence.

Let us continue with John 17:12...Jesus prayed...While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost...stop right there...

Look at what Jesus has prayed...what do you see? Jesus has kept...all...12...men...in His Father's name...

And Jesus continues with...and none of them are lost...this is another place Christians gloss right over and do not pay attention.

Again...Jesus said...and none of them are lost...but the son of perdition, that the scriptures might be fulfilled.

Questions...Was Judas transformed into the son of perdition? No, he wasn't. Why? Jesus kept Judas in His Father's name.

So what was Jesus praying when He said...and none of them are lost, but the son of perdition, that the scriptures might be fulfilled?

Jesus was using the name...son of perdition to identify the fact...that Satan...at the appointed time...would enter Judas so that Jesus could be betrayed. See John 13:27.

In order for Satan to enter Judas...the Holy Spirit had to depart from him...and when He did...Satan entered him...while sitting at the table with Jesus...at the last supper.

Please listen very cerefully...Satan only had entered the body of Judas...so the scriptures might be fulfilled...this is a type and shadow of things to come. See Revelation 13:1-3.

but Jesus still had possession of the heart, soul, and spirit...of Judas Iscariot...and therefore...Jesus...never...lost...Judas.

This is a very powerful point many Christians miss out on...because they cling to their unholy and uninspired commentaries.

I pray you are blessed and encouraged in your walk of faith in Jesus Christ. Sleep in peace tonight.

A continuation of the expository examination of John 17 the prayer of Jesus

Good afternoon my friends. I pray you have had an awesome day so far walking with Jesus and studying His Holy Word.

We shall continue our expository examination of the John 17 beginning in John 17:6...

6...I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

Please take a very close look at what Jesus prayed above...what do you see???

Jesus said...I have manifested...meaning made known...thy name into the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me: and they have kept thy word.

Now...what do you see above? You see a statement prayed by Jesus that many Christians just...gloss right over. They don't even pay attention.

God gave Jesus 12 men...on this earth...who became known as...the 12 disciples.

All...12...men...including Judas Iscariot... originally belonged to God...and in their respective mother's womb...knew them and anointed them. See Jeremiah 1:5.

There is something here that they did. What did all 12 men do...Jesus said...they have kept the Father's Word...including Judas Iscariot.

Questions: Does Satan keep the Word of God? No. Satan twists the Word of God. See Matthew Chapter 4.

Does the son of perdition keep the Word of God? No. He blasphesmes the God of@ Heaven...His name...and them that dwell in heaven. See Revelation 13:6.

Is Judas Iscariot the devil or even the son of perdition? No...why? Jesus said Judas kept the Father's Word.

So, the Christians who believe Judas Iscariot is the son of perdition...are lying to you, false, and glorify Satan. Let that sink in.

Jesus said in Matthew 7:16a...Ye shall know them by their fruits.

We shall continue now with John 17:7...Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

Take another very close look at what Jesus prayed...what do you see? Jesus says...Now they have known...that all things whatsoever thou hast given me...are of thee.

How did they know that Jesus had came from the Father. Two ways...Jesus told them and Jesus demonstrated what God gave unto him...this is how they knew.

Now, continuing with John 17:8...Jesus said For I have given them the words which thou gavest me, and they have received them.
Stop right there.

What did Jesus give His 12 disciples? The Words of the Father...and what did they do with these words? All...12...men...received...the Words of the Father Jesus gave them.

Continuing with John 17:8...Jesus said...and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

Take a very close look at what Jesus prayed... what do you see???

Jesus makes a statement that at first sounds strange and hard to comprehend in the flesh. See 1 Corinthians 2:14.

But...in the spirit...by the Power of the Holy Spirit, see 2 Timothy 2:15, one can clearly understand and explain.

Jesus said...and have known surely that I came out from thee. Okay...what is Jesus saying here?

Jesus...was not inside the Father in heaven... no no...Jesus was in the bosom of the Father in heaven...see John 1:18...and that is how close they have been...until the cross.

John 1:18...No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Jesus came forth from the bosom of the Father and was sent to earth to seek and to save the Lost sheep of the House of Israel. See Luke 19:10.

Continuing with John 17:8...and they have believed that thou didst send me.

Take another very close look at what Jesus prayed...what do you see?

You see...after Jesus gave them the Words of the Father...and demonstrated those very Words...and...all...12...men...received tbese Words of the Father...

They did what? They believed...the Father in heaven sent Jesus Christ His only begotten Son.

Continuing with John 17:9...I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me, for they are thine.

Take another very close look at what Jesus prayed...what do you see? Jesus only prayed for His 12 Disciples. He did not pray for the world.

Why? Why didn’t Jesus pray for the world? The answer is very powerful. Jesus didn’t pray for the world...because He hadn't died to pay the sin debt of the world....yet.

Jesus never prayed for the ungodly before paying for their sin. After He paid their sin debt...Jesus has been waiting for them to call upon His Mighty Name to save them.

When an ungodly person hears the Saving Gospel of Jesus Christ...that is the Gospel of Grace...

Jesus saves them, washes them in His shed blood, sanctifies them and then He justifies them...permanently!!! See 1 Corinthians 6:11.

I pray you are blessed and encouraged in your walk of faith in Jesus Christ.

An expository examination of John 17 continued...

Good evening my friends...I pray you are having an awesome weekend with Jesus on this last weekend in May.

We shall continue our examination of John Chapter 17...with the Prayer of Jesus... beginning in verse 3...

3...And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Please take a very close look above...what do you see? You see Jesus making a very powerful statement...about life...

Jesus said...this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Please listen very carefully...do you see Philippians 2:6 in what Jesus said? In this one verse...

Jesus claimed to be equal with His Father in heaven...and thought it not robbery.

Not only was Jesus equal with His Father... but the Father also sent His only begotten Son... that whosoever believeth in him... should not perish but have everlasting life. See John 3:16.

You see...knowing God...represents a saving relationship with Him. Knowing of God only represents a non-saving knowledge of Him.

Secondly...only Knowing God...produces everlasting life. Knowing of God...leads to everlasting torment in hell & after Judgment the Lake of Fire...powerful isn't???

Let us continue now with John 17:4...

4...I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5...And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Again...please take a very close look at what Jesus said above...what do you see?

What did Jesus do? While on earth...after being sent by...the Only True God...who was and still is...His Father in heaven...Jesus glorified His Father...how?

By doing...(performing)...and finishing the work His Father gave him to do.

Please listen very carefully...only a person who is...equal and sent...by another person can do the other person's work...the very same way... the other person would.

This point above is so very powerful and truly proves...without a shadow of a doubt... Jesus is who He claimed to be in John 8:58... Before Abraham was...I AM! See Exodus 3:14.

Biblical proof...John 5:19...Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,

The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. See also John 14:10.

Now...take another very close look at what Jesus said in verse 5...Jesus said...And now, O Father, glorify me with thine own self with the glory I had with thee before the world was.

Please pay very close attention here. Jesus specifically mentions...the Father only...here in verse 5 by stating...

O Father, glorify me with thine own self...this is only one person...with the Glory I had with thee...before the world was.

Do you see this? Jesus was not only equal and sent by His Father in heaven...but Jesus had the very same glory His Father had before He was sent.

This literally proves Jesus existed before the world was...and was with the Father in heaven and had the same glory. See John 1:1.

The Bible says...IN THE beginnning was the Word...and the Word was with God...and the Word was with God. See also Genesis 1:1.

Isn't this powerful??? Now I will share with you another point...why did Jesus mention only His Father alone? Why not include the 3rd person of the Holy Trinity...the Holy Spirit?

Here is the powerful answer. God is one God in three persons...yes He is...but the Holy Spirit wasn't mentioned here because...

The Holy Spirit was in the position of the comforter. Yes the Holy Spirit has all of the attributes of the Father and the Son... including the Glory as well...

But in the position...as the comforter...He was not mentioned...and after Jesus departed this earth...He sent the Comforter who is the Holy Spirit. See John 14:26.

John 14:26...But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Now...once again...the position of the comforter does not lesson the Power of the Holy Spirit. No? No. I will show you...

2 Thessalonians 2:7...For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

The Holy Spirit has the very same power as the Father and the Son...because the Holy Spirit keeps the devil at bay...for a time.

As we all know...there is evil in the world...but there is coming a day...people on earth will wish the Holy Spirit operated the way He did in the Church age.

When the end of that time comes...the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way...and the Church is taken to heaven...then...all hell breaks loose...indeed so.

I pray you are blessed and encouraged in your walk of faith in Jesus Christ. Have a good evening and sleep in peace.

An expository examination of John 17 the prayer of Jesus.

Good evening my friends. I pray you had an awesome day with Jesus Christ as you walked with Him...and...listened to Him.

I was in a discussion the other day...and decided to write on the Prayer of Jesus in John Chapter 17.

I will ask that you pay very close attention as we go through this very powerful prayer... verse by verse...Let us begin with John 17:1...

1)...These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

2...As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

Okay...The Book of John...was pinned by the Apostle John...while following Jesus for three years....in the 1st Century.

Now...please take very careful notice to what Jesus is doing here...yes He is praying but there is something else I want you to see.

Do you see it? Jesus is not crying...no...He is not screaming at the Father in Heaven...no.

Instead...Jesus is just simply having a conversation with His Father in heaven. Let this sink in for a moment.

Why is this point so very important to bring out? Simply because...the Father in Heaven simply desires...fellowship...with us.

When you pray...you don't have to cry...but I also know that praying from the heart can be very emotional...and that is okay...God totally understands. See Psalm 56:8.

You don't have to raise your voice thinking God may not hear you...no no...just pray in a conversational style...and God will hear you just fine.

Now...in verse 1...Jesus says the hour has come...Father glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee.

How would Jesus be glorified??? Jesus would be glorified...1st...by His crucifixion and his death...

fulfilling the Feast of Passover...and see John 1:29... and the Feast of unleavened bread...also known as...dead bread.

And secondly...Jesus would be glorified by His Resurrection...from the tomb (dead)... conquering...death, hell, and the grave... and would fulfill the Feast of Firstfruits.

These Feasts of the Lord...are found in Leviticus Chapter 23. Both parts of Christ's glorification...also Glorified the Father in heaven.

Now...in verse 2...Jesus says...As thou hast given him power over all flesh....

Question...What kind of power did Jesus have? Well...I am going to tell you...right now.

But first...remember Philippians 2:7-8...the Bible says...

7...But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8...And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Let us get a good understanding here. The Bible says...Jesus made himself of no reputation...

meaning...He emptied himself of all of his glory...and became a man...and took upon him the form of a servant.

Everything He had as the Father has...in his human body...he had no more...so the Father replenished Him...so that He could heal and do miracles in his human body.

So...let us look at the power Jesus had in his human body...He had the Fruit of the Spirit... of which there are 9 fruit...see Galatians 5:22-23.

However comma...there is a foundation that these 9 fruit stand on...and this foundation is...Wisdom.

Please pay very close attention here. Jesus had the Baptism of the Holy Spirit... and there are 9 of them...of which one is the gift of Wisdom...see 1 Corinthians 12:8a.

The last power He had...is known as...the Baptism of Fire. With this Baptism...he could heal the sick, make the Lame to walk...

Open the blind eye, open the deaf ear, make the mute to speak, cast out devils and raise the dead. Well this list is only 7.

But the truth is...the Baptism of Fire...has two more components...

#8 is...the ability to explain Holy Scripture... which He did with His disciples...and in His teachings to the multitudes...and #9...is very crucial...for all 8...which is...Wisdom.

Powerful isn't? Oh indeed...yes and Amen! When God calls someone to preach and to teach His Holy Word...God will give them the very same power Jesus had in His human body.

Ponder that above...Now...when you read John 14:12...you should get a much deeper understanding.

John 14:12...Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

The Fruit of the Spirit, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the Baptism of Fire!!! They will receive a triple portion of wisdom!

Powerful indeed...for God...is not the God of lack. He is the God...of more than enough!!!

Now...let us finish verse 2.. that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

Question...how many people has God given to Jesus...that he should give eternal life to?

Answer...as many as the Father in Heaven has given unto His only Begotten Son...

Which is written in John 3:16...For God so loved the world...that is everyone who has ever been born...on this earth...

That whosoever believeth on Him should not perish...but have everlasting life.

How many whosoevers are there? God only knows...but there are many...Amen and Amen!

I will stop here for now...and let you have the opportunity to study this very powerful Chapter of John 17.

I pray you are blessed and encouraged in your walk of faith in Jesus Christ. Remember 2 Timothy 2:15. Sleep in peace tonight!
