A special Easter Message from Pastor Ryan
Happy Good Friday!
We are two days away from the BIGGEST day of the year for the church, a day we have designed to share the powerful message of God's Love. I'm confident that our staff and leaders have planned and prepared for a special day... a day that I am truly excited about. Yet, on this Good Friday, I woke up to a strong word of conviction- "But have you prayed?"
The answer of my soul was a disappointed "no…. not nearly enough." And, as I settled in to spend time with God, I felt the need to rally others to this conviction as well. How sad a thing it is to prepare for a grand celebration for God, and not invite Him to the party. This is why I am calling on you church, to join me in "praying continually" for God to do something special this Sunday. Let's Pray-pare the way for our King to work in a powerful way.
I'm asking that you join me now in regular mindfulness of these petitions…
- Pray that the double edge sword be sharp, the Spirit be heavy and mighty to save, and for the enemy to be bound, so that the gospel pe*******on is deep and the fruit abundant! And that in everything that is done on this most Holy Day.. that it all be to the Glory of our risen King! And this… not just at New Life, but in every church in Berkeley County and beyond. Amen!
Thank you church! I have full hope that you will "Make A Difference" on your knees.
