This Sunday at First United Methodist Church Inverness we begin a brand new series called God With Us.

Life can feel overwhelming sometimes.
Stress.
Anxiety.
Loneliness.
Grief.

Trying to hold everything together while quietly wondering if anyone really understands what you’re carrying.

This week we’ll explore one of the most powerful promises in Scripture from Isaiah 43:
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.”

Not if the waters come.
When.
And the promise is this:
You do not have to face them alone.

Join us this Sunday as we begin a series focused on God’s presence in the middle of real life and explore simple spiritual practices that help us slow down, breathe, and become more aware that God is nearer than we think.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude, pray for military families, and seek peace in our communities and in our world.

This Sunday we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church through wind, fire, and the breath of God bringing new life into the world.

Sometimes life can feel like trying to blow leaves off the driveway during magnolia season… just when you think things are finally cleaned up, fear, stress, exhaustion, and anxiety blow right back in.

But Pentecost reminds us that we were never meant to live on human strength alone. The Spirit of God still breathes life into weary people. Still renews hearts. Still sends ordinary people into the world with hope and purpose.

This Sunday we’ll explore the question:
