Tonight at The Table at Inverness First

Join us tonight at 6:00 PM for The Table at Inverness First, our Wednesday dinner church at First United Methodist Church of Inverness, 1140 Turner Camp Road in Inverness, Florida.

We share a meal, enjoy one another's company, and share stories of God's activity among us. Many who come to The Table do not attend Sunday worship, and you are welcome just as you are.

Come hungry, bring a friend, and make yourself at home. There is a seat for you.

This is a nonpartisan event for Christians to understand how their faith in Christ and civic engagement intersect, and to help United Methodists engage the electoral process thoughtfully, responsibly, and faithfully. The evening includes three sessions: A Theology of Voting, What's on the Ballot, and On Countering Christian Nationalism, facilitated by Rev. Dr. Sharon Austin.

This will be one service at 10:00 AM for All Saints Sunday, a time to remember together those from our church family who died in 2026.

God's Kitchen is today at 11:00 AM

To go meals are served today starting at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church of Inverness. Pickup is at 1140 Turner Camp Road in Inverness, Florida. We prepare about 150 meals each Monday. Come get a meal for yourself or pick one up for a neighbor.

Congratulations to our United Women in Faith!

Our women's group has received a Certificate of Recognition from the United Women in Faith, East Central District of the Florida Conference, naming them a Mission Today Unit. The certificate was presented on October 3.

We give thanks for the women of this church and all the ways they serve, give, and lead with faith. Join us in congratulating them!

You can celebrate with them in person at tonight's Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction, starting at 4:00 PM in the sanctuary.
