I read this sweet reminder of encouragement this morning and had to share...

Hey there dear sisters in Christ! We're so excited to have our Welcome Brunch on Tuesday, August 25th at 10 o'clock! It will be a relaxed reconnecting morning and we are looking forward to starting this year's MIC fresh, positive and supportive with The Word at the heart of how we navigate the blessing of motherhood!

Anyone interested in brainstorming/planning for the upcoming 2015~16 MIC meets please come to the church tomorrow morning at 9:30. MIC will have it's Kickoff bash the last Tuesday of this month and a study will be planned to begin in September.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for today. Thank You for the breath in my lungs, the beat in my heart, and the love I have for You and my husband. Thank You for gifting me another day to show my love. Please help calm my anxious heart. I pray I would not worry about anything. In fact, I pray over those situations right now and ask for Your will to be done. May Your Holy Spirit continue to guide me and transform my life, my character. Make me more like You! I specifically pray for some of the things my husband and I have been encountering. I pray for Your peace to guard us in Jesus’ name AMEN!

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Ladies-
Thank you so so much for the lovely basket of gifts and treats! The outpouring of support, prayers and love we've received from you all is such a blessing to us. I know in my heart God was preparing us for this by putting so many amazing people in our lives to lean on, including you all. I miss our time together on Tuesday mornings. And hope to hug on you all soon!
