A Heartfelt Thank You to Pastor Peck

On behalf of the men of Ebenezer Baptist Church, thank you, Pastor Peck, for serving as our guest speaker at our Remastering Manhood Father’s Day Brunch.

Your words challenged, encouraged, and inspired the men in attendance. You reminded us that manhood is not simply about age, strength, or responsibility, but about allowing God to continually shape us into the men He created us to be.

Our theme, “Remastering Manhood”, called us to become a greater Dwelling Place for God, and your message helped bring that vision to life. Through your wisdom, authenticity, and passion for Christ, you left a lasting impact on every man in the room.

Thank you for investing in fathers, sons, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures. Your presence was a blessing, and your message will continue to bear fruit in the lives of the men who heard it.

Ebenezer Baptist Church remembers Juneteenth not just the colors, celebrations, and symbols, but the people whose faith, sacrifice, resilience, and determination carried them through one of the darkest chapters of American history.

Juneteenth is more than a slogan. More than a social media post. More than a moment.

It is a reminder that freedom came at a cost, that justice delayed still leaves scars, and that the work of building a more just society continues today.

As we celebrate, let us also educate ourselves, teach our children, honor those who came before us, and commit ourselves to action that reflects the dignity and worth of every person created in God’s image.

History should not be ignored, forgotten, or rewritten. It should be remembered, learned from, and used to guide us toward a better future.

At Ebenezer Baptist Church, we celebrate Juneteenth by remembering the people, honoring the struggle, and continuing the work.

YOUTH MINISTER POSITION AVAILABLE

Ebenezer Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana, is prayerfully seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Youth Minister to lead, disciple, and encourage our youth in their walk with Jesus Christ.

The ideal candidate will have a heart for young people, a commitment to biblical teaching, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with youth and their families. Responsibilities include leading youth Bible studies, fellowship activities, outreach efforts, and helping youth grow as active disciples of Christ.

Qualifications:

A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ
A passion for youth ministry and discipleship
Strong leadership and communication skills
Agreement with Baptist doctrine and practice
Ministry experience is preferred
“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers…” — 1 Timothy 4:12 (NKJV)
