Youth mission trip day 3 was full of yummy food! The kids helped chef Andrew make breakfast burritos and fresh squeezed lemonade to hand out on the streets and pray for people. We continued some of our projects, had Bible study, ate tacos at a place that repurposes trash into art, and finished the day with family dinner prepared by chef Andrew. A lot of soup kitchens and meals for the homeless are cafeteria style, but when discipleship and building relationship is first priority, then dinner together means gathering around one big table, family style! It seems so simple, but was very meaningful and a cool experience.

Youth mission trip to Redlands, CA days 1 & 2 included building projects, church service, pot luck dinner, and a trip to the beach! Most of the ministry operates out of a building they call the Rescue Shop which is where most of our projects, meals, daily devotions, Bible studies, and church have taken place.

Big THANK YOU to those who braved the elements to finish shopping and wrapping gifts for our local school children. Deliveries were completed today on time and as expected despite the weekend storm.
