"Father God Almighty, as we watch what's happening in the world, our city, our communities, and even in our churches, may we pay closer attention to what we've read in Your Word and what we've experienced through the power of Your Holy Spirit. We do not want to drift away because we are so grateful for our salvation in Jesus Christ. Help us not to become indifferent, careless, complacent, or uncaring where Your Word and Your people are concerned. We need Your Word to keep us anchored in times like these. Help us to never stop our struggles against sin. We know through the power of Your Holy Spirit we can be victorious over sin. We will never stop thanking You for the suffering and death of Jesus Christ who made us righteous in Your eyes. We lift Him up now as our Risen Savior and our Lord. We offer this prayer to You in His Redeeming name, amen."

"Father God Almighty, as we come to Your Throne of Grace today, we ask You to keep us as a House of Prayer for all nations. Evangelism is needed worldwide, and we lift up to You every nation to come into Your Light. We ask You to bring unity among the nations. We realize the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. We are praying for You to send Your laborers into all the earth with Your message of hope through salvation. May Your name be glorified in all the earth! May Your Presence pe*****te the hearts of those who don't know You and revive the hearts of those who do! We praise You Father for being a God who doesn't want anyone to perish. We adore You Father for making it possible that if anyone calls upon Your name they will be saved! Hallelujah! That's great news today as we see leaders and people from all nations living contrary to Your Holy Word. This world is in need of a healing touch from You, whether spiritual, physical, mental, or financial. Help us all Father, to repent and be transformed by Your Word. As a church body we surrender to You and declare we want to walk in obedience to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Father, strengthen us and keep us focused on doing Your work, Your will, in Your way. In Jesus name we offer this prayer and we are so grateful for You being a God who loves us and answers our prayers! 💕

The Cincinnati–Dayton–Indianapolis District Conference & Presiding Elder’s Appreciation will be held May 29–30, 2026 at Phillips Temple CME Church, 210 E 34th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.

This sacred time will allow us to come together in worship, reflection, celebration, and connection as a district.

As we gather for this District Conference, we take a special moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for Presiding Elder Dr. Lesha M. Agnew. Her leadership has been marked by faith, resilience, and a deep love for the Church. She has walked alongside pastors and congregations, offering guidance, encouragement, and vision for the future. Her commitment to spiritual formation and the strengthening of our district continues to bless us all.

Also during the District Conference, we will pause to honor those pastors and preachers who have blazed trails and made paths for us. We are indebted to our retired preacher for their labor and love to the church and the Cincinnati Dayton Indianapolis District. We will celebrate them with a luncheon on Friday, May 29th at Noon. Immediately following the luncheon, they will lead us in the opening worship of our 2026 District Conference.
