Eastgate Christian Church

10/28/2026

Please join us in church on Sunday, November 1st as Pastor Lem brings us the message titled, "The Gathering". On All Saints’ Day, we celebrate the power of gathering together as a community of faith. In worship, we remember those who have gone before us and are reminded that we are never alone—God’s people surround us with love, hope, and encouragement.

Scripture focus: Hebrews 10:19-25 calls Christians to hold firmly to their hope, encourage one another in love and good works, and continue gathering together regularly—especially to strengthen one another as the day of Christ’s return draws near.

See you in church!!

Please join us at Eastgate on October 25, 2026 as Pastor Lem brings us the message, "Lord of Lords". Standing before the Pharisees was no ordinary man—it was the Messiah, the Lord of Lords. He came in love and grace to offer salvation not only to those who encountered Him then, but to each of us today.

His invitation still stands: come, receive His grace, and experience the hope, peace, and new life found in His presence.

Scripture focus: Matthew 22:34-46 in which Jesus teaches that everything comes down to two commands: love God with all your heart, soul, and mind—and love your neighbor as yourself. He also reveals that the Messiah is not only David’s descendant, but David’s Lord. Love God. Love people. Follow Jesus.

We warmly invite you to worship with us at Eastgate. Come as you are, join us in fellowship, and encounter the presence of the Lord of Lords. We would be honored to welcome you!

Welcome to Worship!

This week, during our Week of Ministry, Pastor Lem brings us the message, "Possession". In his sermon, Pastor Lem invites us to consider who we owe for our lives. We have responsibilities to both our community and our God. We contribute to our community through taxes and fees so that essential services can serve the common good. And we offer God our grateful stewardship—caring for creation, nurturing our spiritual well-being, and supporting churches that teach us to live with love, respect, and compassion.

Scripture focus is: Matthew 22:15-22 This passage teaches wise discernment: fulfill legitimate civic duties while recognizing that ultimate loyalty and devotion belong to God.

Thank you for participating. Feel free to share this message with others, too.

Welcome to Worship!

This week, Eastgate Christian Church celebrates 75 years of faith, fellowship, and God’s guiding hand. For generations, Eastgate has opened its doors and its heart — welcoming seekers, nurturing disciples, and shining Christ’s light into the community. This anniversary is more than a date; it’s a reminder of the countless prayers prayed, lives touched, and blessings shared along the way.
Rev. Joshua J. Patty, Regional Minister and President, The Christian Church in the Upper Midwest. will be our guest speaker and will share the message, "Partners in the Gospel" during this special worship service. The day will also include special music and special guests as we celebrate this meaningful milestone.

Scripture focus is: Philippians 1:3-11 which relates Paul’s prayer for the Philippian church and reveals the marks of a growing Christian life: gratitude, partnership, confidence, love, and spiritual maturity. These passages share a clear, connected theme: Christ creates a united people through His self-giving love, and believers are called to express that unity through humility, service, and remembrance.

Thank you for participating. Feel free to share this message with others, too.

Welcome to Worship!

This week, on World Communion Sunday, Pastor Lem brings us the message, "That They Be One". In his sermon, he stresses the importance of finding a unity of spirit to affirm our oneness in Christ especially in this time when social and political divisions are so pronounced among us and we find ourselves separated by political ideology and ethical issues. We are one body. In the Crucifixion, Christ’s body was broken by the very same forces which divide us today. In the Resurrection the brokenness is healed and the body makes us one again.

Scripture focus is: John 17:6-10, 20-21, I Cor 11:23-26, Philippians 2:1-13. These passages share a clear, connected theme: Christ creates a united people through His self-giving love, and believers are called to express that unity through humility, service, and remembrance.

Thank you for participating. Feel free to share this message with others, too.
