We are delighted to welcome Pastor Lem Whitmer to our church family as Eastgate's newly called interim minister. With a remarkable wealth of life experiences and a heart shaped by years of ministry, Pastor Lem brings a global perspective and a deeply grounded faith.

His journey has taken him through diverse cultures and communities, each one adding depth, compassion, and wisdom to the way he leads. Now, he joins usβ€”ready to guide us through our faith journey, walk alongside us in life’s challenges, and celebrate God’s goodness with us.

We are truly excited to hear him preach, to learn from his stories, and to grow under his caring leadership. Pastor Lem, thank you for bringing your gifts, your heart, and your calling to our congregation. We look forward to the season ahead with gratitude and anticipation.

Welcome to Worship! We are so happy you have chosen to worship with Eastgate! This weekend, we celebrate the Sixth Sunday of Easter and Mother's Day! Retired GKC Minister, Rev. Kent Deubner, delivers the message, "What Could Go Wrong?".

Sermon summary: In the first century, Christians were trying to understand what a relationship with God means, especially one defined through a walk with Jesus. The overarching question was, What Could Go Wrong? The partial answer was everything. We respond by understanding that the church, early disciples, were called to mother the church through a loving and viable relationship. How do we mother the church? Glad you asked! Our scripture focus will be John 14:15-21 and 1 Peter 3:13-27.

Thank you for participating. Feel free to share this message with others, too.
