We lost Internet while streaming the service last night. It eventually came back up. The recording of that service will be available on our Ustream channel when available.

Today is our final day of business, with our closing worship and ordination service tonight beginning at 6:45 pm. It is possible our business meeting may conclude earlier than our schedule suggests, which would mean our live stream for that session ending early as well.

2026 General Conference
4/7/2026 Update

Yesterday we met in meetings and quorums to discuss the business before the 2026 General Conference. Those meetings will continue throughout the day, today.

This evening we invite you to join us in worship, with the song service to commence at 6:45 p.m. and worship at 7:00 p.m. This service, and the remainder of the conference, will be live streamed. The direct link to the live stream is on the menu bar of the Conference of Restoration Branches web site. Streaming only takes place while we are live, so refer to the conference schedule for the times of planned activities.

Conference documents are available through our website, with potential for new letters, resolutions and reports, etc. to be added throughout the conference. The revision date in the footer of the documents posted online serves as an indicator of when they last had anything added to the end of the document.

No lunch will be served at the conference venue today, but will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The conference venue is the Good Shepherd Community of Christ church located at 4341 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, Missouri 64133 (same place as last year). This building hosts a homeless center in its basement, so there are many pedestrians roaming the parking lot and areas outside the conference center. Good Shepherd recommends vehicle doors be locked with any valuables placed out of site.

May you be blessed in your participation. We invite your continual prayers as we endeavor to work through issues important to our on-going efforts to meet the goals set before us.

04/07/2026

We started the day with a “meeting of the whole,” to discuss the business pending before the conference. It was an opportunity to ask questions, and gain perspective. In the afternoon were breakout sessions into individual quorum and group meetings. Tomorrow will be another day of quorum meetings, followed by the opening worship service at 6:45 PM.

We hope you can join us!

Disaster Strikes Saints in Mozambique & Malawi AGAIN!!!
Cyclone Gazeni/Awo

Cyclone Gazeni/Awo struck Mozambique and Malawi on March 18th and like so many recent cyclones, it left a trail of death and destruction, that also impacted our brothers and sisters.

In Malawi, 43 church families lost their homes and all of their worldly possessions in Bangala Restoration Branch, Jazaland Restoration Branch, Machado Restoration Branch Nsakambewa Restoration Branch and John Restoration Branch. But worse than that, Presiding Elder Eugenio Chikamputeni of the Jazaland Restoration Branch perished and his wife was severely injured when their house collapsed on them.

In Mozambique, 46 church families lost their homes and all of their worldly possessions in Tsachirire Restoration Branch, Nhambira Restoration Branch, Chissomo Restoration Branch, Gurumba Bawe Restoration Branch and Mango Restoration Branch. Even more tragically, Sr Maria dos Anjos, age 35, Bro Frederico Vinte, age 17, Sr. Ezerite Celso, age 16, and Pitala Domingos, the 5 year old son of Sr. Lucia Albino all perished in the flood. The Tsachirire Restoration Branch church was also destroyed.

As you can see there is a great need for Disaster Relief, not only for emergency food and household supplies, but to help these poor saints rebuild their homes. Please send your donations to:

2026 General Conference
April 6 - 10, 2026
"Become a Child of My Grace"

Dear Saints,

Grace and peace to you in the name of Jesus Christ. With deep joy and heartfelt anticipation, we invite you to gather for the 2026 General Conference, to be held from April 6 through April 10. This year we come together under the theme “Become a Child of My Grace,” a call that invites us to rediscover the transforming power of God’s mercy and to renew our identity as people shaped, sustained, and sent by divine grace.

Our time together will begin with two days of Quorum sessions, during which we will thoughtfully review proposed legislation and attend to the regular business entrusted to our Quorums. These sessions are an essential expression of our shared stewardship—an opportunity to listen, discern, and act in unity as we seek the Spirit’s guidance for the life and mission of the church.

Each evening, Tuesday through Friday, we will gather for worship, lifting our hearts in praise and opening ourselves to God’s presence. Several ordinations will be celebrated during these services, marking sacred moments of calling, commitment, and blessing. We invite you to hold these ordinands in prayer as they step forward in faith to serve Christ and the church.

As the week unfolds, may we come with open hearts—ready to learn, ready to listen, ready to be changed. May we allow grace not only to touch us but to shape us anew, so that we may return to our branches strengthened, inspired, and more deeply rooted in the love of God.

We look forward to welcoming you, worshiping with you, and discerning together the path God sets before us. May this General Conference be a time of renewal, fellowship, and holy purpose for all who attend.
