The problem with chasing “enough” is that enough keeps moving.

Jacob spent his life chasing blessing, approval, acceptance, and identity. He thought if only he could have the right things, the right people, or the right circumstances, then he would finally be enough.

But in his darkest moment, God met him and showed him something he had been missing all along.

Jacob didn’t need more. He needed God.

And maybe we do too.

We can spend so much of our lives striving for the next if only that we miss what God is offering us right now: an identity rooted in Him, a love that doesn’t have to be earned, and a blessing that can’t be found anywhere else.
