We're hearing reports of homes and businesses that may have flooded in McCurtain County and other areas. If your home or business has been impacted by recent flooding or severe storms, please report your damage online at damage.ok.gov.

Why? Reporting damage helps identify needs and the full extent of damage across the region and can connect voluntary organizations and other resources with communities that need assistance.

Tip: If you're reporting flood damage, include photos that show the height of the water line inside and/or outside of the house. Be sure to wait until water recedes and it's safe to enter!

As we were there today to assess, if any, storm damage someone came and filled the 🩵 Blessing Box 🩵. I has just done a perimeter walk and cleaned up the trash that has blown around. It was empty. 🕊

In the very moment our community is going thru great crisis someone comes and gives blessings for anyone who may need them.

Remember the Blessing Box is for the whole community. Please 🙏 take something if you need it. Leave something if you have it. 🛍 Share this if youd like. The world needs more blessings right now.

A new three-session, video-based course about baptism, Eucharist, and the church’s sacramental rites is available for download or streaming with accompanying study guides. “Signs and Grace: An Introduction to the Sacraments” marks the first video collaboration between The Episcopal Church and Forward Movement in a partnership designed to provide free formation resources for dioceses and congregations.

The course—which includes 45- or 60-minute options, with facilitator and participant guides—is ideal for newcomer classes, adult forums, Sunday school, small groups, and those preparing for confirmation. The three 20-minute-long videos are in English with Spanish subtitles, as well as the study guides.

On this Juneteenth, we pray.

O God, you made us in your own image and redeemed us through Jesus your Son: Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bonds of love, and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

As Pride month begins, save the date for a gathering commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1976 General Convention resolution declaring that LGBTQ+ people have a full and equal claim to the pastoral care and support of The Episcopal Church. The event, “Full and Equal: 50 Years in Pursuit of a Promise,” will celebrate progress and acknowledge the work that remains.

The three-day gathering, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sept. 3-5, will include storytelling coaching, workshops, a banquet, and a Eucharist featuring Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe as presider and Bishop Gene Robinson as preacher. Spanish-language interpretation will be available.
