Last week our youth kids were at Castaway Camp in Detroit Lakes, MN serving the organization Joni and Friends.
Our students were the kitchen help! They served meals, bused tables, prepped food, and washed a lot of dishes. They had a wonderful trip and loved getting to be part of a great week with an amazing group of people.

Our kids are wrapping up the summer learning a few names of God! Yesterday they learned about Elohim - full of power and strength.

They worked in teams to build strong structures that could withstand different size balls (from golf balls to basketballs) being rolled at them. Afterwards, we talked about how we can call on God to be our power and strength when sin and temptation try to knock us down!
