Our many thanks go out to long time supporters, the Hutchinson Rotary for inviting us to join in their Swing into Spring fundraiser in April. This brought in critical donations for several local causes and we were honored to be included. Besides a fantastic evening of fun, connections and camaraderie, Common Cup was awarded an extraordinary donation of $2,000!!🤩Thank you so much, Hutchinson Rotary and all of the thoughtful donors who came to this wonderful event. We are so very grateful for this support!🤗

Our many thanks go out to Madisyn, Morgan & Melanie from MidCountry Bank for wrapping up our Weekend Food Program for the 2025-2026 school year!🎉 Since these are the final bags to go home for the summer, they are chock full of snacks & goodies as well as a 16 oz jar of peanut butter!🥜
Speaking of peanut butter, we are incredibly grateful to Oak Heights Covenant Church for collecting and supplying over 300 jars which saved us between $600 - $800 just on this menu!🤩 Thank you to all who volunteered and contributed to this program this year. It has been another fantastic year of teamwork making the dream work!🥰

Let’s hear it for another fantastic week of CCM volunteering!😃

Thank you to this trio of friends from Bethlehem United Methodist Church for putting on a spectacular community meal on Wednesday! They served up a perfect spring picnic style lunch of chicken salad on croissants, veggies with dip, chips and a large assortment of homemade cookies, cakes & bars. The dining area was buzzing with compliments and we were super impressed by how efficiently this team of 3 pulled off such a great meal.🤯

Tuesday brought our final visit of the school year from the Haugland’s. We have so enjoyed getting to know them & are extremely grateful that they reached out about joining the CCM team. As always, Cindy brought more meals for our clients and let on that we can expect to see her again over the summer.🤗

Speaking of families we are grateful for… we also had our final visit from the Campbell’s this week. As long time CCM supporters, we have gotten to know them over the years and had the pleasure of watching the kiddos grow. No matter how busy their schedules get, they always make time for volunteering and we are thrilled to benefit from their dedication to serve.🥰

Thank you all so very much for your continued support of Common Cup, your unwavering willingness to jump in, connect & offer your help with local needs. We are truly blessed with the WORLD’S BEST VOLUNTEERS!🤩

More thoughtful gifts came our way last week courtesy of the Broll Team, a talented student & New Century Academy.

The Broll Team went out in the community to volunteer for Keller Williams’ RED Day on Thursday. RED stands for Renew, Energize, Donate and as expected, The Broll Team went above and beyond! They brought treats to local police, EMS & firefighters as well as tackling shopping for personal care products for us, sorting them, delivering & filling our cupboards at several apartment complexes across McLeod County.🧴🧼🪥

Later that same day, we were gifted this fantastic Little Free Pantry from New Century Academy. It was built by student, Luke & brought to us by him as well as project director, Debbie Vedder & NCA instructor, Mark Rothstein. It will be stocked with shelf stable foods & personal care items.

What wonderful ways to make a difference in our community by both groups!🤝 How blessed are we to be recipients of such thoughtful gestures?! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!!💗
