The Shroud of Turin has been venerated for centuries as the actual burial cloth of Jesus and is widely considered to be the most studied object in the world. You are invited to explore faith, science, scripture, and hope in this exhibit by Othonia, part of the institute of Science and Faith at the Regina Apostolorum Pontifical University located in Rome, Italy.

Exhibit is hosted by St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Parish at its Parish Center @ 220 Lincoln St. Huntsville, AL 35801 and sponsored by SMV Faith Formation and the Roses for St. Mary Court of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Visiting Hours will be September 25-27:
Friday 3pm-6pm
Saturday 10am-5pm
Sunday 11am-2pm

With a special talk and Q&A session on Saturday (9/26) at 2pm

What an amazing start to the OCIA journey at St. Mary of the Visitation Church for 2026-2027. We welcomed 42 adults to our OCIA program making this the largest group of inquirers at St. Mary. Through prayer, fellowship, and an openness to God's call, these men and women have taken an important step in their faith journey to the Catholic Church. Please join us in praying for all those discerning a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, and for our OCIA team and sponsors who walk this journey of faith with them. Thank you to Fr. Jose Ambooken for his prayers and support of the OCIA program.

🌸 A Wonderful Evening of Fun & Creativity!

Thursday evening, several wonderful ladies came together for a night filled with creativity, laughter, and fellowship! 🎨💕

We painted beautiful tote bags and door hangers, shared lots of laughs, and celebrated one another with plenty of cheers and encouragement. What a joy to see our Women’s Ministry growing in friendship and faith while simply enjoying time together! We can’t wait for our next adventure together!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special. Thank you to Lisa McFarland and Caryn McDonald for sharing their paint ministry with us.

season of fun, fellowship, and faith sharing. All ladies of the parish are invited for an evening of fun at a Craft Night to paint a tote bag. Join us Thursday, August 20th at 6:00 pm in the Fr. Trecy Hall. There will be many designs to choose

The Saint Frassati's Adventurers's ministry had a great adventure at the Cathedral Caverns cave Saturday, August 8th, and enjoyed staying cool underground on a hot day. All of these great ladies from SMV enjoyed making new connections and building community with fellow Catholic women. Had a prayer, a tour, and a picnic afterwards. A great time was had by all!
