We have some sad news to share. Afton Travens’ son, Jimmy, has passed. This is also Pat Pruett’s nephew.

We grieve and mourn this loss but we do not grieve like those without hope. Please keep this precious family in your prayers.

“I can't stand how political churches are.”

Maybe you've felt that way. Maybe you've seen Christians more passionate about political candidates than about Jesus. Or maybe you've watched political disagreements divide families, friendships, and even churches.

So what should Christians do about politics? Should churches stay out of political conversations altogether? Or does following Jesus sometimes require us to speak up?

In this message, we tackle some challenging questions:

When does political allegiance become an idol?

Should churches speak out on politically charged issues?

How should Christians approach issues like abortion and political character?

Can Christians disagree politically and still remain united?

How can we stand firmly for biblical truth without compromising Christlike love?

Jesus never asked us to give our allegiance to a political party. He asked us to give our allegiance to Him.

Our job isn't to make Jesus look more like our political party. Our job is to become more like Jesus.

Because ultimately, we won't be saved by an elephant or a donkey. We'll be saved by the Lamb who was slain.

True love requires BOTH grace AND truth. If your definition of love contradicts God's Word, you haven't become more loving—you've misunderstood love itself. Don't let compassion be twisted to excuse evil.

It’s dark, it’s loud, and it smells a lot like coffee. We love Jesus. We love the Bible, and we love our church.
