han 27 years the faithful members of Dolomite Mission C.O.G.I.C. were blessed to be under the leadership of a highly respected and greatly devoted man of God. Even during his illness, he continued to show constant compassion and God given love to everyone he met. The lord called his faithful servant home on June 30, 2010. We will always carry his precious memory in our hearts. In 2011, the Lord blessed us with a new Pastor, Elder John W. Elder Smith and the members of the church changed the name to Dolomite Pentecostal. Pastor Smith appointed Elder Alex Zinnerman Jr as the Asst. Pastor on November 15, 2015. Elder Smith also started an annual Founder’s Day to honor the late Elder Alex Zinnerman Sr. and Mother Eva Zinnerman. On February 27, 2018, God blessed us with a new house of worship located at 4846 15th Street Rd, Hueytown, AL. Dr. Smith resigned on September 23, 2018, and Elder Alex Zinnerman Jr, was appointed Pastor. On October 17, 2021, Elder Jessie Williams-Smith was appointed Assistant Pastor of Dolomite Pentecostal Church. Dolomite Pentecostal joined the Alabama Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the COGIC in September 2024. Earl Pulliam installed Elder Zinnerman as the Superintendent of the Birmingham/Lincoln District soon after. God has tremendously blessed Dolomite Pentecostal COGIC, and we look forward to what he has in store for us. We vow to remain faithful and endure to the end.
