We couldn’t have asked for a better morning for the the Memorial Day service today!

Thank you to Hudson, Wi - VFW POST 2115, the American Legion, Troop 140, and the Hudson High School Marching Band for delivering today’s program. We appreciate your continued support of fallen service members, veterans, and active duty service members.

A special thanks to tntcoffeelab for setting up their coffee cart next to the Chapel this morning! It was a nice treat for those in attendance.

We are saddened to hear about Jim Steel’s passing last week. Jim served on the Willow River Cemetery board as Secretary for 55 years, and was a vital piece of the cemetery during that time.

Jim was a kind and wonderful person, and he will be missed. We appreciate his dedication to the cemetery over the years.

As the year comes to an end, we would like to take a moment to thank everyone that supported the Willow River Cemetery this year! We appreciate your generosity, both through monetary donations and volunteer time spent improving the grounds.

Thank you to the Hudson, Wi - VFW POST 2115 for spending many hours cleaning veterans’ graves and to Troop 148 Hudson, WI creating beautiful landscaping around the Chapel. We also appreciate our continued partnership with the Octagon House Museum, who hosted several Cemetery tours this year.

Thank you to the organizations and businesses that supported the Cemetery this year through fundraisers and grants: Hudson Daybreak Rotary, Blooms for Happiness, KC Council 1762 Hudson WI, RJ's Meats, Joe To Go.

As we move into 2026, we are committed to continuing our service to the people of Hudson, as we have done for 175 years as an independent nonprofit. Thank you all for your support!
