Few people see Hudson the way Karl Frederick Mattson does. His new short documentary, Modern Witness, turns that eye on one of the city’s most beloved landmarks, First Presbyterian Church, and asks what comes next for it.

Premiere: Sunday, Nov. 8, 1 p.m., at TSL in Hudson. Admission is free.

Election Day is November 3.

Love your neighbor through your vote. - Voting is a way you can support the well-being of others—especially the most vulnerable.

Seek justice and compassion. - Love in public life means advocating for structures that protect dignity, fairness, and the common good.

As people called to love God and neighbor, we must vote with conscience, courage, and compassion.

To make a just world for all, we as disciples must be grounded in the love our faith calls us to demonstrate to the world.

We do not vote out of fear, but out of faith—trusting that our participation helps shape a more just and loving community for ALL.

* 1 John 3:18 “Let us not love with words or speech, but in action and in truth”
