There are some people whose work may not always happen in front of the church, but you can see the RESULTS of their faithfulness all around the church!

This Sunday, we pause to celebrate and appreciate the incredible Deacons of First Missionary Baptist Church of Kellumtown. These men serve faithfully, love deeply, support the vision, care for our church family, and help us continue becoming all that God has called The Place Where GREATER Begins to be.

THIS IS THE DAY! 🙌🏾 Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. THIS DAY.

Whatever yesterday held, it does not get to determine what God can do with your today! You woke up with another chance. Another opportunity. Another reason to believe. And if God gave you another day, then there is still PURPOSE attached to your life!

So walk into this Tuesday expecting God to move. Walk in purpose. Trust His plan. Keep believing. Keep praying. Keep moving forward. Because no matter what it looks like right now… GREATER IS STILL AHEAD!

I heard somebody say… FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! 📚If that’s the case, y’all show our Young Worshippers some love! 💚 We couldn’t be more proud of our youth and all that God has in store for them. And while we’re celebrating, we want to show love to ALL of our youth—whether you’re in school or out of school. We see you, we’re praying for you, and we’re proud of you! They are ready to GROW, LEARN, DREAM BIG, and expect GREATER this school year! And why are we expecting GREATER? Because all of God’s promises are YES and AMEN! Young Worshippers, go into this school year knowing that God is with you, God is for you, and GREATER is ahead! ❤️

This morning, before our children ever step into a classroom, we’re covering them in PRAYER! Parents, grandparents, teachers, administrators, bus drivers, and everyone helping our children along the way, WE’RE PRAYING FOR YOU TOO!
