What’s been coming out of your mouth lately?

Faith or fear? Encouragement or frustration? God’s promises or your circumstances?

Jesus reminds us in Matthew 12:34 that our words reveal what’s filling our hearts.

If we want our words to reflect His truth, we have to spend time filling our hearts with His Word.

Here’s your reminder today: Before you speak, pause and ask, “Does this agree with what God says?”

Your words carry more weight than you realize.

What we believe in our hearts and what we speak with our mouths are meant to work together.

Romans 10:9–10 reminds us that our standing with God isn’t based on our own goodness, but on the finished work of Jesus. We are covered by His grace, not condemned by our failures.

So this week, be intentional with your words. Speak truth. Declare God’s promises. Let what comes out of your mouth reflect the faith in your heart.

And if your faith feels shaky? Bring that to Him, too. He can work with honesty.
