It is with a heavy heart, yet a spirit of deep gratitude for a life well-lived, that I, along with the entire North Main Church of God in Christ family, extend our deepest condolences on the passing of a local giant, Mr. Jessie Woods Jr. As the dedicated Principal of Burrus Elementary School, Mr. Woods was more than just an educator; he was a pillar of strength, a mentor to countless children, and a true servant of our community. His commitment to the next generation was a reflection of his faith, and his legacy will continue to shine through the many lives he touched.

We stand in prayer for the Woods family, the faculty and students of Burrus Elementary, and all who are mourning this profound loss. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds during this difficult time.
