Advaita and Kalasudha are disciples of HH Radhanath Swami Maharaj and HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj. In 1994, he was introduced to Krishna Consciousness at ISKCON Chowpatty, and served full-time in the ISKCON Chowpatty Ashram for a few years. While in the ashram, along with studying the Bhakti-Sastras, he was actively engaged in university outreach, and congregation preaching programs. In ISKCON Cho
wpatty, he was a member of the counselor system. In the year 2000, he started working in the IT industry in Bangalore, where he was introduced to the Bhakti Vriksha system. Since then, he and his wife Kalasudha Devi Dasi have established several Bhakti Vriksha structure models in Bangalore, Hosur, San Jose and many cities in North America. Kalasudha Devi Dasi is a disciple of HH Jayapataka Swami and is one of the first "second generation" Bhakti Vriksha preachers and trainers in the world. She was introduced to Krishna Consciousness in the Middle East through the Bhakti Vriksha system. In 1995, she received initiation at the age of 15. Her family hosted and conducted one of the first Bhakti Vriksha programs in the pioneering stages of the Bhakti Vriksha system. At that time, she was actively engaged in cultivating the youth and kids of the congregation. Under the instructions of HH Jayapataka Swami, she moved with her family to Sri Mayapur Dham in 1996 and stayed there until her marriage to Advaita Chandra Das in 2001. In Sri Mayapur Dham, she was a teacher in the Gurukul, and helped in computerizing and managing the Mayapur accounts, while serving as a GBC accountant. Although living in Mayapur Dham, the family created Bhakti Vriksha groups in nearby villages like Katwa(the place where Lord Caitanya took sannyas). Kalasudha organized children's programs there, called "Krishna Club". In 2005, the ISKCON Congregation Development Ministry awarded Advaita Chandra Das & Kalasudha Devi Dasi the "Jahnava Nitai Award" for pioneering the Bhakti Vriksha program in North America. In 2009, they were awarded the "Sita Thakurani Advaita Acharya Award" for successfully developing the Bhakti Vriksha system. In 2014 , they were awarded the 1st Place in USA for Highest Cumulative Congregation Results for Gaurabda 528 (2013-2014)
