I ran a hard 5K this morning with a heart of encouragement and support for those around me who are facing health challenges or difficult circumstances.

[HMPC is a healthy church]

During this Back-to-School season, the members of Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church generously donated school supplies for families in our local community who were in need.

Yesterday, August 29, we brought those school supplies to the park and gave them away to local families for free. It was wonderful to see how happy and grateful so many families were to receive them.

We also shared chocolate chip cookies and cold water with families who came to the park to enjoy the weekend together. We had the opportunity to meet people, talk with them, and share moments of joy and friendship.

It was truly a beautiful and joyful time.

Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church is a healthy church that cares for and serves its local community. We are grateful for the opportunity to share God's love in such simple and meaningful ways.

May the love and blessings of God continue to flow from our church into the community. ❤️

[지역 사회를 섬기는 건강한 교회]

해밀턴밀 장로교회 성도님들이 Back To School 기간을 중심으로 학용품이 필요한 가정들을 위해 기증을 해주셨다. 그 학용품들을 공원에 가지고 나와 지역주민들에게 무료로 나눠주는 행사를 어제(8/29) 했는데, 많은 가족들이 정말 좋아했다. 가족 중심으로 공원에 나와 주말을 즐기는 지역주민들과 초코칩 쿠키와 시원한 냉수도 나누고 대화도 나누는 정말 행복한 시간이었다. 해밀턴밀 장로교회는 지역 사회를 섬기는 정말 건강한 교회다.

Durante esta temporada de regreso a clases, los miembros de Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church donaron generosamente útiles escolares para las familias de nuestra comunidad que los necesitaban.

Ayer, 29 de agosto, llevamos esos útiles escolares al parque y los distribuimos gratuitamente entre las familias de la comunidad. Fue hermoso ver la alegría y el agradecimiento de tantas familias al recibirlos.

También compartimos galletas con chispas de chocolate y agua fría con las familias que habían venido al parque para disfrutar juntas del fin de semana. Tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer a muchas personas, conversar con ellas y compartir momentos de alegría y amistad.

Fue realmente un tiempo hermoso y lleno de felicidad.

Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church es una iglesia saludable que ama, cuida y sirve a su comunidad local. Estamos agradecidos por la oportunidad de compartir el amor de Dios de maneras tan sencillas y significativas.

Following my first English sermon this past March, I will be preaching my second English sermon on Sunday, April 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church (HMPC).

Title: A Church that Proclaims the Gospel in All Circumstances*
Scripture: Acts 5:25–32

HMPC can be described as “one house with three families.”

* Sunday 10:30 a.m. – English Worship (HMPC)
* Sunday 12:00 p.m. – Spanish Worship (La Esperanza Church)
* Sunday 2:00 p.m. – Korean Worship (Ever Filling Church)

The members of HMPC, who have graciously allowed Ever Filling Church to use their sanctuary for worship, are truly kind and full of grace. As the church is currently in the process of calling a senior pastor, I humbly ask for your prayers—that God would send a shepherd who loves the Lord deeply and will faithfully care for His people according to His heart.

Happy Easter!
오늘 부활절 오전 10:30 미국 교회예배 때는 제 생애 처음으로 영어로 성찬식을 인도하는 영광을 얻었습니다.
큰 아들 결이는 바이얼린으로 작은 아들 휼이는 키타로 예배반주를 했구요.
오후 2시에는 예배를 드리고 있습니다.
늘 기도해주셔서 감사합니다.

This morning at the 10:30 AM Easter service at our American church, I had the honor of leading the Holy Communion in English for the first time in my life.
My older son, Gyeol, played the violin, and my younger son, Hyul, accompanied the service on the guitar.
At 2:00 PM, we are also holding worship at our Korean church, “Ever Filling Church”
