New Work Fellowship

After a summer of chasing the wind with Solomon in Ecclesiastes, yesterday we began a brand new series, Wind & Fire.

Pastor Kevin reminded us that the Holy Spirit isn't simply a feeling, an experience, or an idea. He is our Advocate, the One Jesus promised to send, and the One who leads, guides, teaches, and points us to Jesus.

Pastor Kevin challenged us with a practical "Try This" habit to help us put what we're learning into practice:

🔥 Practice the Presence
Don't simply believe the Holy Spirit is present. Learn to recognize His presence and walk with Him each day.

The winds of life may change, but we don't have to walk through them alone.

🏈 FRIEND DAY 2026! 🏈

What a Sunday at New Work Fellowship! Yesterday was one for the books as we celebrated Friend Day and our highest non Easter attendance ever! 🙌

We are so thankful for every person who showed up, every person who invited a friend, and every person who helped create a place where people could experience the love of Jesus. What a reminder that we were not made to do life alone.

Pastor Paxton took us to Ecclesiastes 4:8–12 and reminded us of four things we need from the people God places around us:

🤝 We need people who will work with us.
Life is better when we have people beside us pursuing something greater together.

🫶 We need people who will pick us up.
When we fall, we need friends who won't leave us on the ground.

❤️ We need people who will stay close.
We need people who will stick around through every season.

🥊 We need people who will fight with us.
People who will fight with us, fight for us, and sometimes even fight us when we need someone who loves us enough to tell us the truth.

Yesterday wasn't just about a big attendance number. It was a picture of what happens when God's people invite, welcome, serve, and do life together.

And Friend Day may be over, but the mission continues.

Who are you doing life with? Who needs you to pick them up? Who needs you to stay close? Who needs you to fight for them?

We're grateful for what God did yesterday and excited for what He is going to do next! 🙌❤️
