Aloha Hawaii Members,
All Tenrikyo Nioigake Day for Oahu district, which was scheduled for tomorrow, has been canceled due to weather conditions associated with Hurricane Lowell.
We were looking forward to gathering together and engaging in missionary work, so we are disappointed that we will not be able to do so. However, this decision was made with everyone’s safety as our top priority. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
September is designated as the “Missionary Work Emphasis Month.” Although we will not be able to gather together for this activity tomorrow, we kindly ask everyone to make every effort to engage in missionary activities within your own families and at your respective churches.
While we are concerned about the possible effects of the hurricane, let us use this opportunity to reach out to one another and, in whatever ways we can, share the joy and beauty of the teachings with those around us.
Please also take every precaution and stay safe as Hurricane Lowell may affect our area.
